I wish more acting teachers emphasized the importance of psychology and physiology the way you do, Tristan. I hope one day I get to hire you as an on-set acting coach, whether that's for a music video or a self-produced online show.

I mean it's night and day the comparison - people always say what needs to be improved, but to actually see a comparison - that is incredibly useful to actors out there looking to improve and you absolutely nailed the range in your recreated attempt. It was so believable in contrast to your first audition which did seem frustratingly slow. It could be argued that the character was sleep deprived and had incredible emotional fatigue though - but the audience would probably not see that and want more - which you pointed out and corrected so well!

I love seeing how different the both auditions were, also love this channel because you're helping so many people that would maybe want to act

The best thing about the re-do imo is that you act more like yourself (at least the way you present yourself in your videos). Thank you for sharing your process with us, I’m an actor living in LA with no where near the credits you have, but I find these really helpful.

Wow! Night and day performances. Do you think that had you been given this part you would've found this performance eventually. It was like in the redone version you found that place between being shy and scared and still being able to see a better life full of possibilities. That's what Luffy gives Koby. Luffy's biggest super power is bringing out the joy of living hidden in each of the other main characters. Koby finds that within himself through Luffy. I think you really found that in your redone performance. It needed that spark. Anyway, this was fun to watch. You do good work! PS... I'm a big One Piece fan....There's more to come so maybe you'll find yourself part of it yet!
