with some of the behind the scenes secrets you guys told I now understand why some contestants on this show are absolutely miserable. It sounds like the producers are kind of irritating and the filming process sounds like you can get bored and irritated real easy

I agree. I thought they just chose miserable people- maybe part of the time they do. But I'd struggle to tolerate all that with a smile...and for 12 hours.

A small amount of GOOD QUALITY dark chocolate in chilli can be delicious. It really works with the heat from chilli peppers. Similarly, a small pinch of chilli powder in a cup of good hot chocolate is lovely. 🖤

A friend of mine was on Four In A Bed once (also in drag actually!) and had to deal with similar bullshit from production the whole way through filming, I know both shows are on the same channel so possibly the same production company too? Anyway I never knew you guys had been on CDWM! It’s always been a dream of mine to go on that and get read to filth by the voiceover guy 😂

you'll hate me for admitting this but I got WAAAAYYYY too into come dine with me when it was on bbc america years ago. then i would watch rereuns on KZfaq. it was a guilty pleasure. So Novympia + Come dine with me is like pleasure overload. yes, i know. Very lame. But i like what i like.

You are not alone! I’m in the states as well and have sought many hours of gleeful vicarious joy watching both BBC and KZfaq reruns. It’s the best thing to watch when you’re feeling a bit glum and dreary :) The voiceover gent is so cutting it’s hilarious listening to him eviscerate the contestants!

OMG I remember watching the Canadian version here and it was wild! It was so staged, especially when they'd have the guests "sneak" into the host's bedroom etc and find things (usually "naughty" stuff). It was still a good laugh. Can't recall if they did any couples though. Come Dine With Me Canada ran for four seasons back in 2010 with almost 280 episodes. And a lot of booze lol 😆 Thanks for sharing your episode with commentary. Was fun to watch! xo from across the pond in Toronto, Canada 🇨🇦 🏳️🌈

Tried to find your episode for a long time on KZfaq and it was only within the last few months that I found a few short clips from the episode. I live in Canada and we have the Canadian version of come dine with me and can used to be able to find whole episodes of the UK version.
