I agree with everything you said about Nubin and Drew. And people need to take into account that a good chunk of those passes Nubin picked off we're on poorly thrown passes. I mean atrocious passes. Behind the intended target and some we're thrown directly to him lol. Sure he showed some range on some of the plays no denying that but as a player he's really not that overly athletic. Hopefully his smarts make up for it but we'll see. Trying to read a qb as much as he does can get a player into trouble also as this level.

Of the NYG wins last year one half were when Devito started and finished, one third where credited to Tayler, and only one sixth were on Jones (Arizona). I don't want to hear that Devito can't make the throws that Jones can because Jones can't take the pressure like Devito can. Now Locke looks good on paper but he hasn't played behind the NYG O-line. I'm not saying that he isn't potentially better than Devito, just that I would want to see more of him in pre-season. Seeing is believing. This can be a great year in both Win / loss record and, more importantly, building the team of the future. To be a true Superbowl contender, they need to cut ties with DJ and find their true number one next year. This the year of the "stop-gap" QB. Flustered looses games. Flustered destroys the confidence of the rest of the team. Flustered makes fans want to wear bags on their heads.
