The flexing was awesome. - Jokic NBA title was a prelude to the return of the big centre. After the 3pt revolution now we integrate all the goods we learned from the previous decades and it is going to be awesome. 1. Do you have your 3pt defense breakers? 2. playmaking centre? 3. Defense in order? 4. Do you got your European guy or your Magic like playmaker? 5. The whole team can shoot and or contribute to offence? You might just be a contender

You should definitely try to tamp down expectations still, even if what you're seeing is electric. We've seen that a bunch with young guys entering the league with the most recent example I can think of being Zion. Zion is a monster, more athletic than guys who play guard but stronger than guys who play center, great finess around the basket, great court vision to pass out of pressure. He's all of that, when he's able to play. My expectations for wemby are that he plays some of the most exciting basketball that you can see in the league and is such a freak that it's hard not to watch - but I also expect him to miss time in the league and deal with injuries that effect other parts of his game. That will limit his ceiling in the league, and if he's trying to posterize guys like he was doing to Chet in the regular season he's going to get bodied up. There are matchups where he can get away with it but some guys aren't willing to let a spaghetti-sized man do that to them without making him pay the piper

@@bkelly625 Do you really think Harden's total lack of effort won't significantly impair the 76ers' performance? He's their second best player, and has to make an effort if the 76ers have any hope of winning even 45 games. And then there's the issue of Harden being a locker room cancer this season, which will impair the 76ers' performance even more. Also, Maxey is a great player, and improved a little during the 2022-2023 season, but what evidence do you have that he'll make a gigantic leap this season? To my knowledge, there isn't any. Most NBA players constantly strive to take gigantic leaps, but most are unsuccessful because it's hard to do that when you're playing against the best players in the world, most of whom are trying just as hard as you are.

@@PlanetOfTheApes999 Maxey improved a ton last year and looked good in playoffs and he has two elite skills that project to stardom elite 3 point shooting and elite speed and everything I’ve heard his whole career and through this summer is he’s one the hardest working guys in the league. Also he’s improved every single year going back to high school. The Harden situation we will see but I expect them to win over 45 games regardless

I think there will be a lot more variance than expected this year. Pacers, Magic, and Hornets all have chances to replace some of these slowly declining rosters (raptors, bulls, hawks). And the Grizzlies lost Tyus jones and Brooks, don’t have Ja and will have to switch how they play multiple times in the season. I think that is a recipe for them to be in the play in. Also one or two of the 3 teams at Gonna hit Father Time - Clippers, lakers, warriors
