I sort of feel like we didn't bring it on the couch in this one, but maybe I'm wrong. Olivia over promises and under delivers at work. Roxy almost gets fired and then gets more responsibility. Timmy thinks I'm looking really hot, and Joe Zee is from Toronto and super lovely.

I looked up the Marc Jacobs thing- he's def still making fashion. It might be weird and hard to tell because there aren't any shows with COVID. But it's not like he quit or something. And just launched another perfume. The Elle thing was so weird, they are acting like it's this small indie magazine, when it's one of the BIG American fashion magazines. It's so weird that they kept trying to force Olivia in this role. The interviewer is a specific job that not everyone can do. It's a skill set. And notice how Louise picked up conversation and put the focus on Whitney and Sammy and asked questions about them in the Freddie conversation- that's a journalist move. Olivia is clearly skilled at certain things (and is clearly one of those "it" girls fashion loves), but the conversation directing, story building that Louise does on the fly is not one.

The problem is everyone knows Olivia belongs in fashion, but at a high level. However, everyone high up on the fashion food chain seems to have paid their dues by doing a few years of grunt work. Olivia did not want to do grunt work. Joe did his best to find something that she would excel in, but at the end of the day, she felt like she was too above the day-in-day-out aspects of the job. I think she just wanted to grab the exposure from the show and get out of there asap.

Louise just strikes as someone who is so enjoyable and likeable. She probably has a million best friends lol but like, is actually a really good friend herself. Unlike Olivia who says everyone is a dear friend yet comes across as extremely awkward

This was such a genuinely good show, i never know why they cancelled it. Watching as an adult as opposed to a teen I'd say it was better than The Hills. Everything just feels a little more grown up!
