In this episode you really got to see Heidi’s true colors. Jen was totally wrong for going behind Lauren’s back but Heidi was totally behind it being influenced by Spencer. Edited or not it was wrong and Lauren was not wrong for cutting the losers out of her life.

I’m really appreciating how Lauren stands up for herself and doesn’t ask permission to voice how she feels.. I wish I learnt that sooner.. Also, Heidi was definitely trying to hurt her

Remember when Brody kicked Jen Bunney out of her chair at the club to talk to lauren? And now Jen wants to hook up with the guy that made her stand all night long? Sounds about right.

People say that Spencer manipulated Heidi but I think she always had similar qualities to him. She was not a good friend to Lauren way before the tape rumor. And what's even worse is that she pretended to be so innocent like she had no idea what she was doing.

Coming back to it, it's amazing how no one ever respected Lauren's boundaries on this show once she ended her friendship with Heidi. Like, everyone was still pushing Heidi on to her after Lauren made a clear boundary that this was a very traumatic and toxic person to her that she did not want anything to do with anymore. And they all continued to gaslight her that she was making a big deal, let go, be the bigger person, and it was all her fault, the conflict still going. Rewatching it as an adult makes me sad because they have zero respect or care or understanding of that. It was only about what Heidi wanted. Never mind Lauren never wanted anything to do with her, AND THAT WAS OKAY. But as a later season quote from Lauren, "It's not fair to force someone on someone else".

Heidi is just as opportunistic and manipulative as Spencer.

Heidi really has some sort of birthday complex lol remember on hers she just kept justifying everything with "I'm a princess it's my birthday". She basically just said to Jen sure you can screw your best friends ex ITS YOUR BIRTHDAY! I wouldn't be surprised if she thought she could get away with murder as long as it was her birthday

So strange watching this with the context that H&S stay together, get married, etc.

I think Heidi liked Spencer because he was connected and rich. He made her feel like she was out of Lauren’s spotlight. If he was a regular guy working a 9-5 at Pacsun she wouldn’t have tolerated his bullshit.

Jen Bunney was never really my cup of tea.. I remember this episode really solidifying that even more.

I believe it was genuine from Lauren's end. She met Heidi during her Laguna Beach days. But that may be an indicator from Heidi's side. Small town girl befriends famous reality star. Everything fell into her lap and Lauren was no longer needed ..

Even though Heidi and Lauren are about to break up I’m excited for the Lauren/Audrina saga to begin.

This episode solidified that Spencer was not solely the problem, Heidi had horns too and she had them on full display. Brody should have gotten more heat from Lauren for this than he did though, because even though they were not dating, he knew this was dirty. Lauren didn't care that it was Brody IMO she cared that her supposed friend would feel comfortable doing that with ANYBODY she had recently dated. As she should. All Heidi can talk about is Spencer. If that's all you want to talk to your best friend about then you're the one with the problem. Whitney was always the voice of reason, especially here.

It’s insane how Heidi switched sides so quickly. She basically pushed her and Brody together, and then when Lauren gets mad she completely switches sides and acts like she had absolutely nothing to do with it. It’s showing the beginning of how shitty Heidi really is/was

I just have a hard time believing some of the things they said were fake were in fact fake. Supposedly the Lauren/Brody romance wasn't real and the Jen/Brody hookup was staged, but the emotions in that last scene seem too real for there not to have been some genuine feelings of hurt and betrayal on Lauren's part

Now we know why Heidi end up with Spencer after all: because they are the same kind of bad person!

Jen Bunney now has a PhD, MBA and MPH and works for the same medical group I do lol. She got a lot smarter, it seems.

I remember Heidi's wrist thing annoying the crap outta me so badly. She just keeps doing it.

This was one of the few episodes during LC and Heidi's friendship where I thought Heidi was 100% wrong. Jen kept saying over and over that she didn't want to hurt LC and kept pushing for validation that it was ok to hook up with Brody. Heidi could have easily told her it was a bad idea and Jen probably wouldn't have went for it. So shady and lame. With friends like that who needs friends!

This is such a great episode. Heidi encouraged Jen to hook up with Brody 100 percent. They ONLY thing I agree with on Heidi is that Lauren put her in a really bad spot. You can’t tell your friends you hate their boyfriend and that you will never talk about them or hang out with them. What do you think would be the outcome of that? I just don’t think Heidi and Lauren were meant to be friends. They were too different.

rewatching this ep for sure made me realize that Heidi started most of the drama and wouldn't own up to her sh**.

In the beginning, Heidi didn’t run off to Spencer’s house though. There’s a deleted scene in YT where she actually heads off to Colorado to her mom’s house NOT to Spencer’s house so that voice over of Lauren was false and obviously the producers told Lauren to say that.

Woahhhh what an episode. I woke up 4:43 MEZ (I come from Zurich, Switzerland) and couldn't sleep anymore (like WTF it's Saturday). So I saw your instagram post that a new reaction video is live and I was like great, I can watch that and fall back asleep. Little did I know how intense that episode would be! I do disagree with one thing you guys said. Spencer is the whole puppeteer here. He had that conversation with Brody planting that seed about Jen Bunny, and we know he was talking to Heidi about those two hooking up, for Heidi to be encouraging Jen like she was. Jen Bunny was always an attention desperate person since LB, so she jumped at a chance to not only get with fine ahh, rich ahh Brody, but to have a little storyline on the show. Title of this episode was perfect
