dang, I didn't even make it into the ones on the folder that didn't make into the video. It was still fun, and I am glad I was able to see some of the portraits I saw on IG weeks ago. Congrats to the top 3, those are some amazing portraits, great job!

Doing these helps us realize what we need to improve on. Doing my portrait I immediately thought of ways to improve and I can say I've definitely improved

Thnaks Proko for starting up these monthly challegnes they have been fun for me to work with. so far I've only missed by forgetting at least 2-3 of them. But I have been slowly getting back into drawing again all thanks to these. :)

I’ve never really thought about it but I agree with Stephen, drawings do have a “under drawing'' similar to how paintings have an “under painting”. In these “under drawings” we lay a foundation of forms and planes that may not be translated to the final outcome but it’s a crucial step.

Wow! You are an expert in portrait painting. You draw very well depending on the location because you take advantage of the features. I learn well. I will come back often. I also draw pictures, but it's still too difficult for me~

Thanks Stan for running the competition and thanks Stephen for your advice. Yay I made it into the video, no win though, but it was worth it just to realise Stephen is a closet Leicester City fan. Better luck next time maybe. Thanks again guys.
