As a mom of 3 and my oldest daughter being 10, I can almost promise you that little girl was using her moms skincare acting like she knew how to use it since she sees momma put it on daily🤣🤣

If your new here’s some skincare knowledge! 1: We Stan the ordinary, the inky list, youth to the people,cerea VE,krave beauty, Paulas choice and curology. 2: We dislike Mario badescu, clean and clear, most of neutrogena products, most of tatcha products, kiley skin, pixi skin and many more 3: fragrance is a BIG no. It can can cause many problems like irritation, rashes, pimples, acne and many more 4: Mario badescu sprays are just fragrance in water m💧 5: makeup wipes do more harm than good ( for your skin and the environment) 6: double cleanse if you wear makeup and or sunscreen 7: chemical exfoliating is way better than physical exfoliating 8: everyone’s skin is different 9: everyone needs to moisturize even if you have oily skin 10: use what works for you 11: fragrance is fine in a wash off treatment but not on a leave on treatment like moisturizer, surum, essence etc 12: be gentle with your skin 13: natural is not always better 14: sunscreen is the most important part of a skin care routine and should be used after everything else 15: eye creams are just expensive moisturizers and are not necessary , just use your regular moisturizer 16: our enemy is st. Ives apricot scrub😳 17: diy skincare is a no, most of them use essential oils (which are just as irritating as regular fragrance) and any of the good benefits that you could be getting from the ingredients are most like lost when you cut the fruit or vegetable open 18: enjoy yourself while doing your skincare and think of it as your you time 19: try to recycle ♻️ your empty skincare containers 20: a good and simple routine should have 4 steps,cleanser(this includes cleansing balms, oils etc), exfoliate, moisturizer, and the most important of them all, sunscreen. 21: ingredients to avoid. Denatured/SD alcohol, ethanol, isopropyl alcohol, polyvinyl alcohol(avoid these when they are in the first 6 ingredients). Avoid fragrance/parfum. Avoid fragrant essential oils (they are okay if they are at the end of the ingredient list). And avoid citrus extracts (lime, orange, lemon etc) Hope this was informative. I love the concept of acne positivity. The media teaches us its gross/ unnatural. I've also suffered from acne, face and body. Watching hyrams videos has helped me reign it in and prevent things from getting out of control. Its still a battle...constant battle. People making you feel bad or insecure doesn't help, and honestly makes the situation worse. So thankyou, for overall being such a positive voice.

Your outlook on having acne and we need to support each other and not judge ppl more ppl need to take ur advice cause it can cause low self esteem and its not always a persons fault for acne or bad skin. Having acne in a latino household is so so hard I literally get comments like “wash your face...why do you have so much pimples today? etc.” Hyram is literally my motivation to keep going and ignore these comments ❤️

I have very stubborn acne and I’ve tried like everything. It’s not super bad but it’s all over my back, chest, and some on my nose, forehead and around my hairline. It’s just really irritating to deal with but I’m not super insecure and I use your videos to help me stay positive and find better products! I also recently had a doctors visit and found out it’s hormonal acne and am on mild medication and I think it’s helping a lot! I realised weather, diet and hormones have alot more to do with acne then your actual skincare routine. You can have an amazing skin care routine but there is so many other underlying reasons. Just be gentle with your skin.

The little girl who has a skincare routine is so nostalgic to me, I also started a skincare routine around her age. Lucky for her that she has someone like you to provide good skincare advice. Back in the day I used clean & clear, then I moved onto proactiv. What finally cleared my skin up was prescription azelaic acid cream from my GP, but the skincare brand that changed it all for me was Avène. I’m relatively new to your channel and I don’t know if you’ve talked about Avène before but I’d love to hear what you think of their products.

The biggest burn any product can ever get is ‘use it as a foot scrub’ but Hyram still says it in the nicest way.

10:14 I struggle with acne that makes me insecure so I was using multiple products with acid every day and one day I had what can only be called a minor chemical burn on my face. I stopped using the products every day and switched to more gentle products and my skin was so much happier. Moral is that sometimes a gentler option is better in the long run and to keep your more aggressive things to once a week.

When Hyram talked about CeraVe and how it doesn’t work for everyone I related because even though I know TONS of people who use it and it works wonders for them I had a moisturizer that when I would put it in my face would start to burn and I was younger so I was like oh it’s normal but once I forgot it when I went on a vacation and my skin got way better. Once again this is just my story and don’t be scared to try out CeraVe because of this if you haven’t already and Hyram keep spreading acne positivity! ❤
