This is me reacting with my USA Volleyball teammate and friend, Matt Anderson, to a match we played against each other from the 2015 CEV Champions League. In this video Matt is playing for Zenit Kazan (Russia) and I am playing for Berlin Recycling Volleys (Germany). So happy Matt agreed to be on my channel...HE DROPS SO MUCH KNOWLEDGE! wow, it only took 5 minutes into the video and I’ve already developed a crush on Matt. What a humble, calm and collected person. Matt gives off such serene vibes that I wanna go fishing by the misty lake at sunrise with a cup of coffee in my hand hahaha Erik, good to see you happy, rocking your trademark positivity, that dig on Leon was great! 👌

It’s amazing to see how the guys in the team are actually smart. The guys I played with don’t have that mentality or know nothing close ... and that’s just by watching a reaction to 15 mins of a game. That’s saying something, about both

I just realized the talk with all the members of team USA that have been invited to this channel seem more comfortable/relax (than normal intv), because they know you and you are also part of the game. Erik has been talking about it quite a few times but Matt isn’t talking much about it ;-) that’s why it’s great when we have this video right here (Matt talked about Max and Leon, for example). Hey Erik, loving all the videos and content. Big ups for uploading a long video and letting us really soak it in. If I may make one suggestion: When your guest is talking about something, try to hold your comments or commentary on the game if you're gonna let it keep rolling. It's quite distracting trying to listen to Matt make a point while hearing you talk about the live action. Maybe you can let it roll but then pause if you have something to say, so that Matt can finish his point and then you jump straight into the next point. But all in all these videos are awesome and keep up the great work!!

I think what plays into this is that erik probably knows (or has heard) most of the things matt says. However for me and i think a lot of viewers matt's stories where pretty damn interesting

@@thtrain I totally agree. My comment is purely from a viewer who is interested in volleyball point of view. I wouldn't mind watching Erik doing an interview with his teammates either, but if it's a game breakdown I'd prefer to just hear the breakdown and tips etc

Honestly Matt needs to have a podcast or sum cuz he’s dropped some important gems in this “episode” and we’re all for it.
