Amira sung the aria, Nessun Dorma, in the final. She has a wide repertoire including, operatic arias, classic crossover, musicals, and lighter items like Little Drummer Boy. She is 18 now and hoping shortly to embark on a world tour.

Came to check the weather- - because it's due to freeze in the supermarket carpark before going in to shop... And couldn't avoid listening to this first when it came up! I hope all the people in the carpark enjoyed listening to it too! Her final performance of Nessun Dorma is even more astounding .. if that's possible to say.. look forward to your reaction next week.. You have been infected in a good way. Don't miss a performance. All of them are inspiring and just blow you away. Listen to her every day and it doesn't get tired. After watching all of the HGT performances I followed her each year performance by performance. It just keeps getting better.

They were actually a bit concerned before this performance, as Amira had been suffering a chest infection a week or so before the show. She missed a few rehearsals, but she steamed through brilliantly. Gave the judges a few worries though. I believe Amira has sung four different Ave Marias by different composers. Undoubtedly the one that causes most amazement ( other than this one) is the Ave Maria Gomez, which she sang for a church Christmas concert in 2015, age 11. It has to be seen to be appreciated. The other outstanding performance of hers, is when she sang O mio babinno caro with Andre Rieu. She'd had 6 months and a masterclass to polish her delivery, so it is as near perfect as possible . All the way through her teens she has continued to deliver gems, all fans have their favourite's, but there is concensus on certain performance's that leave you gasping and with a tear I the eye. Nine years worth to catch up on and enjoy, as she has yet to go professional.

Hi Didi, I hope you're doing well! I actually saw Amira when she performed her audition years ago and was blown away. It prompted me to watch all of her subsequent performances and I knew she had something special and gifted. I have sought her out not that long ago to see some of her more recent performances and as expected she is a superstar world class. Peace and love.

Amira is either a timeless, beautiful Elfin Princess from Middle Earth, or an ancient Siren goddess from days of yore. I'm quite certain that either J.R.R. Tolkien must have mentioned her somewhere in his Lord of the Rings trilogy, or Homer referenced her in his Iliad & Odyssey!

For not having any voice lessons she was capable of picking up those skills on KZfaq. She has amazing vocal abilities even for an adult let alone for a child. Her performance is completely un-forced and natural.
