This song is from 1970 after Robin had left the group for 18 months. The day Robin went to talk to Barry they wrote this.

Barry's talent blossomed after he "accidentally" discover his unbelievable high falsetto singing voice . If you want to see something entirely different, find a song with their sister Lesley in it or a song that Maurice had the lead in.

As a Bee Gees fan, I think you have done something tremendous .Thank you. There were many many songs where Robin lead or had big parts in. I always loved how the choices for Robin fit so well . Robin deserved to have these parts because he was so dedicated to their music. His natural vibratto was a huge part of their sound. Thank you also for doing "Closer than Close", so we can get to hear Maurice's voice out front. They are so talented and their music is a gift..Thank you Bee Gees.

Barry had the most sex appeal, the record company wanted him in the lead to sell records. It's a shame that they did this because I feel like there's so much more we could have gotten from the other brothers, they were all naturally talented. I love, love love Barry, but there's something about robins voice that I fell in love with first! Thank God we have the early stuff that really showed Robins talent like this song and I started a joke, it's a year jerker it's so endearing, but so differently unique ...touches my soul! ❤️❤️❤️🌹RIP to the brothers

You could definitely tell when they were finally in control and made all the decisions. Robin and Maurice sang more. I think maybe one of the reasons we didn't get much of Maurice alone was because of the drinking. Never sure what shape he might be in. One night performing he lay on the stage and went to sleep.

See? We told you. Barry was the older brother so he lead naturaly but, no he isn't always lead. Robin lead, or co-lead, in a lot of the early song. Maurice does lead on a few too. Have you listened to any Maurice lead songs? Maurice is smooth.

I really enjoyed your knowledgeable reaction, my friend, although I had to laugh when you assumed this was not, primarily, Barry's song as you just happened to pause it after Robin's introduction :) You Win Again, Secret Love, 1923 New York Mining Disaster, I Started A Joke are the next 4 Bee Gees Classics :)
