I love everything about the kalen king pick but that last name. Brings up bad memories

The only two reasons I was against the 25 pick was my son and I were rooting for the home state Cooper D to get picked and for myself, I was thinking if he’s gonna end up playing guard, I didn’t see the value at 25 for a guard. All in all, I think this was a very good draft on paper. Filled many needs with top prospects at their positions. I think Gute did a really good job. Had a blast going through the entire process leading up to and during on your channel. Great work.

W draft. Only pick that I still dont really like is Hopper. Would have preferred a CB there instead but I will trust Gute, especially after last year’s draft.

It was a good chill draft. Bullard might become a cool nickelback. The draft is so hard to predict. Many of the analysts are making assumption about players based on limited plays compiled in a highlight reel. They also want to overhype certain players for many reasons. Teams draft based on their own scheme fits. The Pack, like most teams, probably drafted guys based on what they think would be the player's fair value. You never know if your player will be there just cuz some internet consensus said so. I’m intrigued by the safety competition that will surely emerge in training camp. Williams and Oladapo both have the skillset to develop into a starting SS. Match these two Pac12 safeties with a pair of SEC guys like McKinney and Bullard, and it might get very interesting in camp. Cooper will probably become the future Mike. He moved around a lot at Texas A&M and played a lot of different positions. He showcased a lot of plays as a Mike backer. Walker wasn't really the Mike at Georgia but he played everything else well. He's big and physical so he's an ideal fit at SAM. Hopper and McDuffie will compete for a Will backer spot. They are both lighter and they play off ball coverage well. The positions are all conceptual cuz in real games, they will be placed into different positions depending on how Hafley schemes.

Hopefully Kalen King will be better than the last King they had at DB, but that was a Thompson draft and I have more faith in a Gute draft chose, even a late 7th round.

I'd have gotten 2 LBs because Ss Oladapo n Taylor would've please d me, but S Bullard is a beast! Ya can't get everyone but giving up Godzilla LB Cooper for LBs Colson n Grey would be fine, to me. Imo, more CBs are valued over 3 Ss although I like Bullard, Williams n Oladapo. I just don't like OL Monk n Glover yet the natl press lauded their skills despite 1 of them w/a pre-draft ranking of 300!! So, could both Monk n Glover been hired as UDFA's like last yr's K Carlson n QB Clifford? Probably.

The got their lineman/ tackle in the first round, then the best linebacker, the best safety, and their best runner, a great developmental quarterback, a strong guard center, another big guy, and a couple of gunner safeties, and a great deal at corner. I like all their picks and there will be starters coming in from the third day. A+

Bas, even if GB drafted per Gutes trades, we should've drafted LB Grey vs Hopper, RB Tracey, Jr vs OL Monk, n instead of OT Glover n UDFA candidate QB Pratt, we could've added 2 of the following players: OG Mahogany, IOL Nugent, C Limmer, OT Crum, OT Coker, OT Pearl or OT Driskoll! Those picks would've given us 3 OL, 2 LBs, 3 Ss, 2 RBs n 1 CB relative to keeping all of Gutes picks except Hopper, Monk n Glover!

Early working name of this draft for the Packers : Nothing fancy. They got core players who will be backbones of the team in the near future. Soon we will know their names as well as players like Bakhtiari or Bulaga. I'm pretty happy with the way it went, even though they didn't draft any flashy players.

Last year’s 7th-round draft choice, Carrington Valentine, became a starter as a rookie for our Green Bay Packers. If Calen King can get back to his best he can follow a similar path. The Green Bay Packers could have landed one of the steals of the 2024 NFL draft, and Kalen King will do everything he can to prove himself for the Packers for giving him this opportunity. Not a fan of Glover, Pratt is fine but probably won't play, and Kalen King dropped down due to poor tape and a disappointing RAS. i don't feel good about Rounds 6 and 7, but they are only Rounds 6 and 7 so no biggie. We'll see what happens.
