Davina McCall has presented a whole bunch of TV shows. She used to do Big Brother and voiced the Davina Droid during the Big Brother part of Bad Wolf in season 1. Currently she hosts a show called Long Lost Family. It's not a BBC show though, so they might not have gotten legal clearance to use the name by the time filming started.

I originally subscribed for your Star Trek reactions (a rare gem in the field btw!) So having you do Doctor Who as well is an amazing plus! Love your reactions and thoughts. Hearing you make guesses is also really fun. Hope to see you back with Disco in April and Who in May?!

Davina McCall used to present/host Big Brother and now does a show exactly like the one in the episode. She's pretty famous in the UK. And she technically appeared in the Eccelston season. Though as a voice in the Big Brother bit as a sorta robot version of herself, though we never see her. i'm just assuming because of the robot Anne Robinson in the same episode.

Trivia: Mrs Flood = Anita Dobson who is married to Brian May = guitarist from Queen. He is also an astrophysicist and has been knighted. As he's Sir Brian May, Anita is more formally known as Lady May. I'm sure she never uses the title.
