Hi, Finn here. I'm so glad there was at least one scene with my language to see you react to. In Fin dub, Shrek is played by Samuli Edelmann, a famous Finnish singer and a favourite of mine. Recommend listening to him even if you don't understand the words 😁 Donkey was played by Jukka Rasila, an actor and comedian who might be best known as a long time Finnish voice for Donald Duck as well as many other dubbing jobs. If you want to see him, try searching for Touko Pouko, a character he played in Finnish sketch show Studio Julmahuvi 😁👍

Being German myself, I can tell you that professionally dubbing movies is a huge deal over here - personally, I dislike that every movie on TV and in cinema has to be dubbed as it results in the majority of the population being rather bad at English (I myself am a huge fan of watching movies in their original language). However, I will admit that most of our dubs (especially for stuff like Pixar, Disney , Hollywood-films etc.) are pretty decent - it's only going South rapidly as soon as it's B-movies or Indie-stuff because there's no real money in dubbing those I suppose.
