I think one of the reasons Led Zep reactions are so popular is because so many of us have felt what you are feeling now in discovering them for the first time, and it’s so great to see that joy experienced by someone else - it’s more than just “great music”, it’s an experience, a journey, and such a friggin vibe that’s beyond just about anything else! Keep going with Zep and definitely do check out Pink Floyd too. They are different to Zep but similarly amazing, and if you like one you are almost certain to like the other!

With very rare exception, they never played the same song the same way. They said that would have been boring. Some concerts were 2hrs, and some were 3.5hrs. Just depended on how they felt, how the audience was responding, etc... Also just wrap your head around fact that shortly after they started performing they never played a venue that was not sold out.... and when they reunited for the 2007 show for one night in London 25 million people tried to get tickets forna place that only held 18,000.

It’s awesome to see someone experiencing Led Zeppelin music for the first time from film and video. About a month ago I reconnected with my first friend after losing contact 35 years ago. First friend, since 2 years old (I’m 63 now). We touched on concerts from the past. He was 14 working on the Santa Monica pier arcades when a guy scalping tickets was done for the day and said, “hey kid, do you want a ticket to see Led Zeppelin tonight at the Forum”? Tommy said, “heck yeah”. He called his grandmother who drove him to the forum, dropped him off by himself, and picked him back up at midnight. Tommy said it was 1973 and it was the Houses of the Holy tour. I think this performance might be that same tour. I was like a kid again just listening to him tell me the story. This girl gets it. The GOAT.

Thank you for recognizing greatness. There are many people waking up to what we witnessed during this genre. It was magic...beyond words. I thought it would never die, but I was wrong. All of those amazing, gifted, artists are almost all gone. Maybe it can be resurrected at some point, but I fear that the culture is heading is a different direction. I'm so happy I was there back then.

Robert Plant had the most unique voice I have ever heard in rock music & music in general. There are other belters out there of course in rock, metal, & blues, but the sound of Robert's voice is so different from everyone elses. The timbre of his voice.....just totally different. Excellent reaction. And yes, that cop is legendary in rock lore.

Zep is a band that's hard to pin down; their major influence was old-school blues music/artists, and you can hear that in a number of their songs. You should listen to the studio version of "When the Levee Breaks", their adaptation of an old blues song about the Great Mississippi Flood of '27 - you'll understand why their style was called, "The hammer of the Gods". But then, from "Goin' to California" to "Rain Song", "10 Years Gone", "Kashmir" and on and on, you'll hear different aspects of this amazing band - you should really give them a good listen.

Zeppelin's chief constituency was really the American mid-west (although half the band hailed from the English mid-west!). There's always been a bit of resentment from Brits about their own 'making it big in America' because it implies they didn't pay their dues at home. Instead they did it abroad - as this footage attests. This is towards the end of the third tour of the US that year!

I see you have been bitten by the Led Zeppelin bug.! There is no cure for it, but the symptoms can be relieved only by listening to Zeppelin songs. The drummer John Bonham sadly passed away on my birthday September 25, 1980. He is the reason I became a drummer, his influence on all drummers that came after him is monumental. What a great band, we will never see another band like them. Enjoy your journey. New subscriber 🙂

You are such a joy to watch! If you haven't already learned this, these performances are from a feature film called "The Song Remains the Same" and is available on DVD if you still have one of those dinosaurs. You should check out the whole movie, it is worth the hour and a half. Led Zeppelin reunited in 2007 for a one-time concert with John Bonham's son Jason on drums. Despite being around 60 years old, Zeppelin had not lost any of its power or magic. It was released as a movie in 2014 call "Celebration Day". The highlight of this show was "Kashmir", and it is phenomenal.

Really Imsightfull comments. Led Zeppelin is one of the most legendary rock bands of all time. Love altso how you get the uniqueness of each musician. John Bohnam is undoubtedly the greatest rock drummer ever. Such a personality in his drumming. The same goes for Jimmi, Robert and John Paul as well. John Paul Jones is a musicians musician. He is the glue that keep all the other exploding components together. Jimmi Page is a true guitar hero and a musical creative genious. He has inspired a lot of great guitarists that has come after him. This epoc in music from late 60s to late 70s is probably the most innovative time in music history. There where a lot of great bands and extremely great musicians. Musicianship just isn't as valued today as it was back then. Especially when it comes to these kinds of improvisations. Loved the reaction. You really get this and are also obviously a musical young lady. Congratulations. This performance is taken from the Led Zeppelin concert move " the song remains the same". I think you'd love that movie.

First time seeing your channel. I know nothing about you, but watching you react to LZ and to Jimmy Page's playing this song, tells me you're pretty cool... and... got great taste in music. I enjoyed watching you react to the many soul quickening Sweet Spots in the song. When I was about 15 years old, my buddies and I went to the theater to see this LZ movie "song remains the same ". I didn't really know much about LZ or who Jimmy Page was. The movie was playing already and when we walked in to find seats, this song was playing. I had no idea where my friends went to sit in that dark theater because I was frozen in my tracks zoned in to this dude on the big screen producing the most amazing soul striking sounds on his guitar moving as if he was slow dancing with it. That particular live version of this song is the best one. In my opinion. Anyway, cool groove chick... thanks for sharing. I'll come back again and check out what else you throw down. Peace! 😎

Yes check out the popular request .,, Dazed and Confused and Song Remains The Same to The Rain Song ...Celebration Day was always a fav for me because of that funky style John Paul gets to show off with his bass . ..It hit me a while back that Robert sounds a lot like Janis Joplin on Since I Been Lovin You ....I think they were good friends on an acquaintance level before she died and I can tell he is channeling her in on this ,I think he is anyways ..You might understand if you ever get familiar with her songs ..

Some very insightful comments you made. From Zeppelin back in the day, I wondered what Jimmy Page had been doing before and fell down a whole rabbit hole of great blues. This is basically a minor blues, but with an interesting arrangement on the turnaround. But you're right, Jimmy made everything he did a bit special. So great to see young folks getting into this kind of music. It would be nice if your generation would keep real music alive.

Nice to see so many young people discovering one of the greatest bands ever, you are right, they are ridiculous in how good they are individually and even more amazing that they are even more than the sum of their parts! You have hit on the Gods of classic Rock. I can't tell you how lucky I was to begin high school in 1969 when they came on the scene with their first 2 albums. You have so much to hear! Their music is everything to me, try Heartbreaker, Dazed and Confused and Kashmir to start, try studio versions to get what the songs sounded when released as well as the live tracks, they are masters either way. Nice to bump into you and your great reactions, you made this old hippie quite happy. Rock On to the best music ever! 🎸 🎹 🎵

The studio performances are great, for sure. But for Zep, the studio performances were a snapshot in time, and the songs grew and evolved in concert. They were improvisational masters, and live shows were one of the things that separates them from other great bands. Their music expanded and thrived in the live setting. The fact that you get that so early on means you're going to absolutely love the Zep journey.

I just loved watching your every reaction to the brilliance that was Led Zeppelin. So rich with intensity of feeling that they created from their incredible chemistry and depth of talent from these four astounding musicians . I was so fortunate to be young when such an amazing musical revolution took place. So much originality , diversity as well as such truly gifted musicians that made up the kinds of superb music we were able to see performed both live, as well as buy . It was truly the center of most of our lives~ fueled our imaginations, spoke to our hearts , and minds . echoed our social and political beliefs as well. Such giants like Zep, Jimi Hendrix, Pink Floyd, The Beatles and so many more. You were a joy to watch and your responses and reactions mirror so closely my own . It was exciting and enjoyable to know you share the same feelings and feel their music just as intensely as those of us who were lucky enough to be in the thick of such genius in the moment . I still get the same thrill and am also moved to tears as well , listening to them today. So powerful. Thank you for sharing your obviously spontaneous and heartfelt reaction.

I really appreciate your reaction because you don't stop the music... You take the time to listen... I appreciate it. It's a pleasure to see young people enjoying the music of these rock legends (I'm 67...I discovered Led Zep when I was 20...) I wish you to listen to all the Led Zeppelin albums, you will discover treasures of emotion... Bonjour from France !!!

wow, love the way zep gets to you, just like me. Im 52 and been amazed since like 1977' by them. I had older brothers who saw them in concert. My first experience was all the posters on their wall when i was little (and playboy)

I saw LZ twice in’77! I was 16. I was “ in love” with Robert Plant and I adore Jimmy Page, he was playing with a cello bow. Amazing!

One of the reasons why he was such a great guitarist was he had a lot of practice doing session work for other bands in the '60s, from like '62-'68, and then at about 28 yrs old he began the Zep

I'm cryin my girl just fell the hell out at Robert's intro lol I ain't mad at her though his voice has that effect on people. He is arguably one of the best rock singers out there. Jimmy had you enthralled with that guitar then Robert came in and took you all the way there

Another great version of this song is live on the BBC sessions. A few years before and Robert's voice is so much more powerful

Hard to believe that was 48 years ago, it was their 1973 North American tour {same year I moved to America} filmed at Madison Square Garden & released as a film The Song Remains The Same in 1976, they are my all time favorite band - PEACE LOVE n HIPPYNESS ✌☮

You are a special and very nice girl, I'm glad you appreciate this band and it's a great feeling to see a young girl like you being passionate about these songs. If the Ledz transmit these emotions after 50 years it means that theirs are masterpieces like a famous painting or sculpture. I loved them much more than other bands because their albums are full of masterpieces and live they were the best. This is the best gig of all time, bye!

Robert Plant has done so much great music even since Zeppelin, you should check out Big log or ship of fools you will love it. Also Jimmy Page did a great album with David Coverdale of White Snake called Coverdale Page. I feel so lucky getting to see these guys in concert even though it makes me fill old.

Hi from England, I loved your reaction. It is so nice to see a young person like yourself appreciate true greatness from this or any other era. There will never be another Led Zeppelin, ever! Have you listened to any Pink Floyd, if not I am sure you will love that too. Please stay safe and well. Your followers in England. :)
