The whining and complaining I’m reading is pretty pathetic….especially coming from a bunch of couch jockeys who don’t know anything. Love him or hate him, Mozeliak came out and has been super aggressive and did exactly what was needed from him. He needed to replace a bunch of innings and he needed to get a top of the rotation arm. He did those things If they can add a guy like Bieber via a trade and get a decent bullpen addition, this team will be lined up to be in a good spot going into next year. Y’all that are bitching are deluded if you expected the Cardinals to come out and sign Yamamoto and Blake Snell and Hader. Lance Lynn and Gibson as the 4th and 5th starter will be fine and guys like Thompson and Liberatore are available to spot start if needed. Mikolas slots as a natural 3 Cards just need a 1-B or a 2 to go with Gray. Stop complaining - The Front Office heard you and they’re doing something about it

I’m with Benjie Molina. Team still needs a 1, and guys like Hader and Neris. Thinking we need to do it via trade. Hopium springs eternal on Cardinals land. Hopefully somebody like Severino, Montas, Lorenzen etc. will be added to the starters. Thinking Yamamoto is a bridge too far. Sigh. Go Cardinals!! “ I don’t want that on me. Shut the fuc’ up.” Love these guys. 👍👍👍

Still need a soild #1 starter man. Sonny had a great year but u still need a frontline starter. In my opinion.

It's a nice pick up with Gray. They are adding innings eaters. Cy young runner up in the A.L. behind Cole. Pretty damn solid.

@@kingmoka4906 lol ah the know it all of the game. Enlighten me. Gray is solid. You've seen his numbers? Second lowest era in the A.L. 3 lowest in all of baseball. Almost 200 innings. Great strikeout to walk ratio. Like I said pretty damn solid...

He was on the Twins. Getting no run support whatsoever, judging by that low ERA of 2.79. He would’ve had more if he had more run support.

@@daltonfarris you must have missed the playoffs. Montgomery was 3-1 with a 2.90 era. Gray was 1-1 with a 4.00 era

@lamuertte Michael wacha was 4-1 with a 2.64 era in the 2013 playoffs.. Jordan Montgomery consistently has eras high then gets them low by the time he is in a new city half way through the year. I don't need to see Monty come back and be a 3.5 era guy. Looking at tiny sample size like the playoffs is ridiculous, which is why I bring up the wacha stats. (Wacha actually had a better era than Monty did in stl, and a comparable one to the combined one in Texas and stl). Gray played in the ball park where the 9th most homeruns were hit last year and was able to pitch around that and dominate, under no criteria that matters (era, era+, war, fip,) is Montgomery on grays level.

@daltonfarris5435 take what Montgomery did in Texas. He was consistent and gave the team a chance to win every outing. Sub 3 era. Maybe it was the park or the defense behind him. Hes also a few years younger. Im willing to bet Monty will be a better pitcher next 3 years than Gray.

@@chrissmith8072 as your ace?? That’s actually worse than mediocre lol and within 1-2 years Gray will be a league average pitcher. I watched him pitch 15-20 times last year, how about you? He can’t pitch deep into games and can’t face a lineup 3 times. Not an ace
