When I did this reaction I had a nagging feeling I had heard it somewhere but presumed it was from one of the many KZfaq shorts or TikTok's I have been getting about Babymetal. However It wasn't, It was from FoxFest! I cannot believe I didn't recognize it, much of that evening has merged into one, and lately, my head has been all over the place. With that being said, this isn't a true reaction, and I feel I am cheating everyone. So if you want I can delete this, for I feel it isn't a true first-time reaction and I should have stated so. yes, this was recorded before the band had come up with a permanent replacement for Yui. Sorry, don’t know this gal’s name, but she clearly does a fine job here. I’ve noticed that the live videos made before they settled on Momo pretty much chose to not put the replacement dancers on screen, instead doubling the screen time for Moa. The temp dancers also never wore microphones. And you are SO right about Moa’s smile. Her genuine smile can change weather patterns.

In this video it's Kano Fijihira, this was filmed during the Avenger age of Babymetal. Kano, like Momoko, Su, and Moa was from Sakura Gakuin. In fact like Su and Moa, Kano was the president of the small Idol group. Su was president in 2012, Moa, 2014, and Kano 2019. Kano is only 14 years old in this video. Kano is one of the best dancers in Sakura Gakuins history, I would say better than even Momoko and Yui during their time in Sakura Gakuin. Kano is part of a small group called @onefive which is a Japanese clone of a k-pop group.

I saw Kano my favorite Avenger in there

⚡ 💕 / 🌶 🌞 This was supporting dancer Kano Fujihira's first appearance with BABYMETAL. They filmed the concert for blu-ray sales, as well as this music video. So no pressure. : ) She's also in the music videos for 'Elevator Girl' and 'Shanti Shanti Shanti'. At this time, Kano was the President of Sakura Gakuin, a role both Su and Moa also held during their senior years in that Idol group. She "transferred-in" to Sakura Gakuin right after Moa and Yui graduated. Kano has always admired and looked up to Moa. She's now one of the four members of the J-Pop group @onefive, also with Amuse, Inc.

'PA PA YA' is a summer festival song - and they're going hard singing and dancing about a spicy Thai papaya fruit salad.🥝 Such a good live song, it really gets the whole crowd jumping and waving towels round their heads (Su, Moa and Momoko love to see everybody doing that and we love to see them happy, so everybody brings or buys a towel specially for this song). F Hero flew in to Japan specially to perform on the first two nights of BABYMETAL's 2019 tour at Yokohama Arena (that was where this was filmed - this is the official video so the audio is from the studio - there is a live video for this performance with the live audio and it is much better). The third girl was the Avenger Kano - this was her very first concert with BABYMETAL - Momoko hadn't made her first appearance yet. They performed in Bangkok in Thailand as part of their world tour last year and F Hero made another special guest appearance. F Hero was rapping in this song to the same rhythm as mixing the ingredients for the salad with a mortar and pestle. They are pretty much saying that, much like the salad, mixing the right spices in the right amounts into life will make that better too.🦊

When they first performed this song, Moa said she liked everyone swinging their towels . They sold out all the special Pa Pa Ya towels very quickly 😁 recently on the festival tour in Europe. Su yelled, "Everyone wave something," and Su, Moa, and MoMo unfurold their tour t shirts and started swinging them wonder how that helped the sales this time 🤣🤘🏼🦊🤘🏼

Great stuff. There are many photos of them after a show and they certainly do perspire. Su has mentioned that she sweats a lot on stage but you are right they are super fit. Extraordinary.

Nice reaction as always. BabyMetal are probably some of the physically fittest live performers there are with choreo for almost every song and the amount they tour and must rehearse/practice. They probably have very low % body fat. It's one of the things people don't realise about idol groups in general, not classing BabyMetal as an idol group but it still applies, that they have to be really fit.

In regards to them not sweating as much, as others have mentioned, they take breaks between songs, towel off, etc. I also saw a YT comment once saying that they practice singing while jogging on a treadmill, which not only increases stamina, but also helps them keep their voices level while dancing. I don't know how true that is, but I can definitely see them practicing that way! ;) Edit: Also, please keep the vid up! as mentioned elsewhere, they have multiple versions of the same song at different concerts, so even if you have heard the song before, it will still be a new reaction to that specific performance.

Thanks again from Japan 有難う💛。This popular and exhilarating song was performed almost all of BM shows sisnce 2019. In June 2019, F. Hero came all the way to Japan from Thai for the world premiere of this song in the two-day shows and he had been very nervous to perform at a huge venue in foreign country (Yokohama Arena). This MV is a mixure of studio sound and live footage. At the acture performance, Su-Metal shouted "Come on F. Hero!" to summon him and at the end of this song she screamed "Thank you F. Hero!" then the three girls bowed deeply towards him to show their respect. That scene makes me happy. (On Day-1, 3rd dancer was Riho and Day-2, Kano who is in this MV) As you attended Fox_Fest, you already knew it was very hard to keep swinging towel above your head for 4 minutes all along. It is fun. though 😄 .

No need to delete it, there are many songs people react to that they heard in passing, a snippet of, etc. It's you thinking about a song and imparting your feelings to the audience that people are watching for.

As others have mentioned already, the Avenger is Kano Fujihara. Kano is also a Sakura Gakuin graduate and like Su and Moa was "Student Council President" during her final year in SG. She is now a member of the JPop quartet @onefive with other SG graduates, GUMI, SOYO and MOMO (The name @onefive came from "15" which is the age at which everyone graduated from SG).

this was during the "Avengers" era , there were a few that were getting rotated as the 3rd person on stage -- in the case of this particular show, the lady in question was Kano (who has since gone on to do other things). i _believe_ the venue for this show was Yokohama Arena.

I have posted the lineup and changes earlier in your videos recently, but I will Share it here too. 2010 Su-metal Moametal, Yuimetal, Original Trio. 2018 Yui leaves for health reasons. Su and Moa continues alone 2019 The Avengers, a group of 3 unnamed backups, rotate in Yui'a place (avegers have been identified as: Kano, Riho, and Momoko) 2023 Momometal (one of the previous avengers) officially announced as their new member, steps in permanantly in Yui's place, and is now a part of the Main Trio

If you think it's cool that Su plays with her vocals by rolling the Rs, wait until you listen to the actual live version. 😁 The visuals on this music video are from the concert BABYMETAL Awakens - The Sun also rises held at the Yokoari (Yokohama Arena) on June 29th 2019. It was the first series of concerts that year and the first time they implemented the Avengers system for the backup dancer covering old Yui's spot to complete the triangle formation. Since this is from day 2, the Avenger here was Kano Fujihira who was only 14 years old and an active member of Sakura Gakuin at the time... and the student's council president, just like Suzuka and Moa on their senior year in SG. 🤘🦊

It's great that you touched on how much energy they have. They really do go from choreo to choreo with hardly a break in between. Setlists (at legend shows) are generally around 15 songs, so their fitness levels must be through the roof! There's a few instances where you can see them sweat but hey that's probably from the weather :P

Last year fans at Bangkok had a blast with this song live with F.Hero as a special guest for the third time performing together after this 2019 live performance in Japan, but everyone were enjoying this in every concert, is a hit they don't wanna miss in any of their setlist. F.Hero is singing/rapping in Thai language, the title is in reference to the papaya fruit used as an ingredient in a popular Thai salad. It's a fun song to represent and celebrate the mix between these two great cultures, and fans of all generations enjoyed at the recent World Tour 2023/2024, only thing is during the recent Europe Tour they didn't use F.Hero rap backing vocals, not sure why but i guess is they wanted to talk to the crowd in that section making everyone to swing t-shirts or whatever bc the official towel merch they love fans wave when playing that song was already sold out. If you want another rare live performance with Latin rhythm vibes you got "Night Night Burn" live at Legend Metal Galaxy 2020, or with Indian influence like "Shanti Shanti Shanti" official MV, better yet if you look for "folky" vibes then you got "Oh! MAJINAI" ft. Joakim Brodem live at Legend Metal Galaxy 2020 or Budokan 2021. This song belongs to 3rd album "Metal Galaxy" released in 2019 but this one as well many more songs are exploring a different Babymetal side, sometimes more mature, but trying to not lose their fun side. The footage of this was took from BABYMETAL AWAKENS: The Sun Also Rises 2019 in Yokohama Arena, Japan, F.Hero was invited for this, the night before he was really in panic with the amount of people and even throwing all out after the show, It ain't easy to face that crowd, especially after receiving some negative critics from BM fans who didn't like his participation on this, luckily he recover from this and received a warming welcome. Also that night they introduced the _avengers_ system, a group of three backup dancers filling the third spot that YuiMetal left. They rotate so not always you'll see the same one on stage, usually the live official MV before 2020 is with Kano Fujihira, she started this when having 14 years old, so young like our girls back in their early days. None of them had mic or sing and aren't official members, they just dance. But remember that status changed in April last year when one of them, MomoMetal, became a new official member, but again the one you saw in this official live MV is Kano-chan. If you pay attention the title on this didn't say official live, it says only "official", that's a clue for you to know there's no live sound. The official MV got album studio sound so wait to hear the blaster sound of the Kami Band playing this live. Yesterday they announced they will be for the first in South America as part of the Knotfest in Brazil and The One is going crazy, hopefully they will add more countries, that would be a blast, i will try my best to see them. She is the glue that holds Babymetal together. And you're right that's not Momometal. That's Kano another Sakura Gakuin member. The Jpop group that Babymetal grew out of. A deep pool of talent. Kano was part of the trio of dancers that filled in Yui's spot during the Metal Galaxy tour. Momo was the last remaining dancer. She learned most of their choreography over that time. And for the ten years of Babymetal concerts at the famed Budokan. A big part of why I was hoping she would become a new member back then. She earned that spot. And it's a new spot. Not just taking over Yui's old role. Momo brings brings it. And is the new fangs of Babymetal as Moa calls it. The foxhole is deep and full of surprises.

I know it has to have been a lot to take in at but you did see this song performed at FOX_FEST. 3:22 they employ multiple techniques: take short breaks during the set and rub their faces with a towel and have someone fix their hair a bit. But also obviously: being extremely fit. A vocal coach called them: vocal athletes. You are correct, Su-metal adapts to each song, each song for her has a different story she is trying to portray, I would go so far as she is trying to personify each song.

That was so nice to watch! BABYMETAL are a cure to any serious life situation, it seems 😊 I don´t know if the ladies get notice of such things, but I strongly believe they would be VERY proud of and super happy about it! The Avenger in this performance is Kano Fujihira. Although she is the smollest 😉 (and the youngest) of the three Avengers, she is a great dancer! I think this performance was filmed at the "BABYMETAL AWAKENS - THE SUN ALSO RISES" concert at Yokohama arena in 2019, which was the live premiere of "Pa Pa Ya!" This was their setup from 2019-Apr 2023. Momo became the sole avenger in 2020, and of course became official in Apr 2023. Moa’s smile - there’s a reason she’s the “Angel of love” 😂. Babymetal definitely sweats! However, after a decade touring, they’ve learned a thing or two 😂. The long song intros, band intros, or solos/duets give various members time in between to rest and tidy up. Of course, they’re also fit as hell after so many shows lol. Suggestion: *Akatsuki (Budokan 2021)* - An amazing Su-metal solo. 🤘🦊

Actually most of the video footage in this video is from the LA Forum show. Obviously the parts with F. hero are from the Yokohama show but most of the rest is from the Forum show.
