I'm sorry but I don't get what exactly Lamine Yamal did this season that makes everyone say he is Barca best player. He isn't even in their top 5 goal scorers and is only top 4 in assists. He has played more minutes than perhaps Lewy and Gundo in the front 5. Is it because he is 16?? I hear people say that he creates chances. Isn't that what an assist is? He is in the front 3 which are the people who are supposed to score and assist. Gundo has more assists and the same # of goals as him and he is a Midfielder. To me, Fermin Lopez has been better than Yamal and has played less minutes (Again a Midfielder). If I had to pick the MVP this season for Barca it would be Gundo. He has been the absolute constant on this team. He for sure has been the best pick up we got this season by far. I think Yamal can be one of the best in football in 3-4 years, but he has a way to go, which of course is natural for a 16 year old.
