Fun fact: Quite a few boy groups have covered Something. There’s a performance of Suho (EXO), Minho (Shinee), Kyuhyun (Super Junior), and Changmin (TVXQ) covering it at their SMtown concert. Imagine, I got to live thru this era 7 years ago! The "piano" move is iconic and was a highlight of the live stages, when they weren't slinking around the floor. Bang Minah's voice was the icing on top of a very sexy cake. Darling is great. The MV is surprisingly similar to SISTAR's I Swear and I can't wait to see you're reaction to that. Was never too crazy about Ring My Bell, but I'll Be Yours is peak Girl's Day at the height of their powers and sadly their final release. So glad to see you experience Girl's Day. If you ever get a chance there are some other music videos to check out by them to experience the full of history of them going from a Rookie cute concept group to queens of the mid-10s sexy concept era. Oh! My God in particular was the first song of theirs to first garner them attention. Hug Me Once and Don't Flirt are two left overs from their cute concept era (I really like the MV for Don't Flirt). Don't Forget Me is a really good ballad and interesting transition piece between their two eras. Hello Bubble is super adorbs. I also have to recommend their weird debut song Tilt My Head just because it has to be seen to be believed. Other than that, there are so many great b-sides by them I absolutely adore. Thirsty, Love Again, Kumbaya (Come by Here) Truth (basically every song from Everyday #5), Macaron, Top Girl, Whistle, Timing and I Miss You (this is one got an MV as well) are all fantastic b-sides.

I came here for Something and I was NOT disappointed. This might be my favourite reaction of the year and the year just started haha

I miss my girls so much. I stanned them too late (2018) and they are my first group to stan. Girl's Day deserves so much to be honest, their company is just so shitty. Although it's impossible since they are so busy with their own activities but I badly want a comeback. Please react to EXID as well, the legendary girl group that got their popularity risen because of a fancam. They are about to disband but because of a single fancam, the song risen to charts after its release and slayed the industry after that. ❤

When my 82-y/o mum saw Darling, she of course loved the song because it has that bouncy 40s/50s vibe. But then she saw Hyeri in her pink and banana dress, and said--She looks just like you did at that age! The hair, the crazy dress--it's YOU! I only wish I'd been that pretty, but I guess it's typical of a Mum to think her daughter is pretty.

I've never really been a Girl's Day fan. I heard their music casually but never really sought out to listen to it. But when I'll Be Yours came out I was so incredibly angry and in awe because just how dare they hide suchamazing vocal talent from Minah. My recommendation is with reasoning hehe Ruann - Beep Beep. She's a japanese who debuted as a soloist in Korea, super young but crazy good! Luri - Blah Blah. Partipacted on Produce 101 and got robbed, didn't get enough love for how good her debut was. Elsie - I'm Good. Despite being a member of T-ara, I think this one is criminally underrated compared to other solos, it was soooo good. Back then everyone was disappointed because it was a slow song, but it still a bop. :( Youha - Abittipsy. Honestly it took a few listens for it to grew on me, and the only reason I kept giving more listens to it bc Youha is a good performer. She definitely has a bright future ahead.
