As an Armenian born in Iran who was born during the Iran/Iraq war in 1985…I can tell you the people of Iran are amazingly kind, humble, smart and generous. As a Christian living in Iran I never felt in danger. However the people of Iran are oppressed. The woman are suffering folks! Don’t get it twisted, they don’t hate America! The government does. Iranians are very progressive and bright individuals that deserve to have their voices heard. I’ve been living in the states since 1996 but I won’t forget where I came from.

I'm half Iranian (Mom) and half Armenian (Dad) born in Iran. Dad's side being Christian and Mom's side being Muslim is a big no no as I'm sure you know, but my parents were never treated badly and neither was I or my sister. We got to the US in 1994. My wife of 15 years is Iraqi and came here in 1994 too. Crazy how things turn out in life! I enjoyed reading your post, hope you have a good rest of the year brother!

Not a fan of Iran's HR violations but find it very intriguing that PBD does not comment much on how US has plenty to apologize for incl. overthrow of Iran's 1953 govt to favor a Pahlavi police state. PBD crew appears weak on dissecting underlying reasons of various global conflicts incl. hate for US - this weakness was on full display when they engaged Bassem Yousef.

1. Israel is the only reliable ally the US has in the middle east, would be foolish to turn your back on them . 2. Israeli soldiers are dying in the battlefield so that American boys don't have to, they are the front line fighters on terrorism in the world. When Bush made the mistake of saying it was an Israel problem so he wouldn't help Israel out, 9/11 happened. 3. If you're religious, I don't need to explain why it's in America's interest to support Israel (and yes that sometimes translates to financial). In short, America first includes supporting our allies around the world to maintain balance in favor of the US for trade and peace.

I left Iran in 1977 and totally understand what you are saying. I lived in England and later I ended up in USA. America gave me an opportunity and I ran with it working 16 hours a day to be where I am. I love America and Iranian people. Here again with the Wikipedia leftist version of history. Mossadegh was a radical socialist who would have destroyed Iran's economy. He was appointed as PM by the Shah and was just as easily removed. The Shah is beloved in Iran to this day and only western indoctrinated folks still make this argument. By the way, since you hate America so much, maybe look into how Jimmy Carter betrayed the Shah during his visit to Washington and during the revolution, and how that led to the instability in the broader Middle East region.

As a Christian Arab Israeli living in Israel, I listen to your podcast and I really appreciate your opinions and how you address issues, I think it’s sad that we as human beings have lost the ability to have a decent conversation without it becoming violent and disrespectful. Everybody’s entitled to have their own opinion, it’s perfectly fine to disagree, as long as it’s done in a respectful manner. I think the biggest problem we have today is that people don’t talk and don’t listen to one another, instead they build up this hatred inside and then it turns into violence. As a muslim American I agree with almost all you saying. My neighbor is a hardcore Evangelical. Her dad used to show fingers at us. She was a sweetheart, and we have both made it a point that our kids have to grow as neighbors, and there is no way we can do it without respect. I love her and respect her she does the same. We share food, any help picking and dropping kids and much more. Yes we have been taught many wrong things in our cultures which i am unlearning too. All of us have to make an effort. GOD is looking at our intentions and thats what we will be rewarded for. I just want America to not get involved in any other countries political regimes. Stay out of it and help rebuild the American values of freedom. The neocons are greedy and many of us have to realize that the same money going for wars can be spent on education and win the hearts of many around the world.

I’m a Portuguese America… 1st generation 💯 I come from immigrant parents and I have a Persian wife… when I talk to my father in-law he tells me all the beautiful stories of Iran during the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s. We share similar religious beliefs; I am a Protestant Christian and a third-generation Chinese descendant living in the predominantly Sunni Muslim nation of Malaysia. During my youth, my relationships with Muslim friends and neighbors were harmonious. However, political factions discovered they could exploit race and religion to further their agendas while simultaneously curtailing the economic progress of the Chinese community through affirmative action policies. These policies, initially intended to assist the majority Malay population in closing the economic gap, have instead enriched the politicians.
