I am a packaging designer. I work one day from home. That one day is a saviour because at least my travel cost and food cost is a bit less saved at least $40 that day. I’m a high performer I do not need micromanaging, I’m autonomous. My boss asked me to go in on the one day I wfh which in my opinion is not fair especially when I do the job of about 3 ppl while the sales team is wfh majority time out of the week some don’t even come in some come in two days a week. I’m not giving up my one day fair is fair. How can you be in sales and wfh?! Don’t they need to build relationships?! I called one sales person and they were at the gym on company time… yet the one that’s working their ass off and wfh one day is being told to come in?! Makes Zero sense. Bring all their asses back to work if that’s the case.

Minnect is a really good concept that has the potential for your average individual the opportunity to ask a question of those with knowledge in whatever genre. Most people will reach out to ask for advice with questions that have real relevance to their lives. So initially to be constantly bombarded that Vinny needs a new suit to increase his numbers, slightly missed the point of the app as far as I was concerned. Now we seem to be stepping up the ante to benefit those who spend the most money on Minnect. Whilst an evening meal with the lads would be a great night out, it’s putting it out of reach of the majority who haven’t got bottomless pockets entering a competition that provides the successful recipients a healthy cash injection. Isn’t the idea of Minnect to promote quality over quantity, that’s why you’re allowed one question. Does encouraging users to make as many connections as they can, financially put it out of reach to the majority of those who would really be the ones benefiting from the app? Those few that win the evening out I presume are in a healthy financial position to be able to succeed. And what would have been the quality of all the questions they’d asked.
