John and Olivia had a brother and sister friendship that goes way back almost like kindred spirits and they just loved to perform together when they could. They are/were hopelessly devoted to their own partners 😁💕

John's been married over 50 years, and there's literally been no hint of scandal about him in that entire time, despite him touring frequently and women loving him. Australia is a small place, and Australia's celebrity scene is even smaller - word would have gotten out for sure he'd been doing anything like that. Olivia was great friends with both John and his wife Jill, there was definitely full trust there.

What you see is definitely what you get with John Farnham and Olivia Newton John. I've followed both their careers since I was a young child. Grease is also a fav of mine Suzie 🥰 I sadly have never seen or met John but I did meet Olivia while I was a midwife in Mt Isa which is in west Queensland. She came thru town touring ( I think?) and she made a special trip to the Mt Isa base hospital. She came thru the maternity unit while I was working and had a huge entourage of our DON and admin following her. No security, just Olivia and 6/7 of our hospital admin.😂 It was back in 2000 or 2001 and mobile phones weren't a thing so I grabbed the old poloroid camera we had in the nursery and got a photo with her. She was so beautiful and gracious and had heaps of time to talk to both staff and patients. I still have the poloroid pic and it is a priceless memento that takes pride of place in my home. I was devastated when she passed . She was a beautiful soul, an angel in disguise. 💔💔❤️❤️

Just catching up with this reaction Susie and Travis. Yes the chemistry is real it's how one feels about a very close friend...Both John and Anthony were so loving and caring or our Liv as she was not long finished with her chemo. But what a trooper she was. The is another very fun performance of the 3 of them singing and dancing to 'You've Lost the Loving Feeling' it's so good....I love seeing Susie singing along too lol

While Australia has many stars and celebrities...the small population and the small amount of cities in Australia lend to our celebrities actually knowing eachother and many are friends and have been friends for decades. It's more of a community here with our celebrities.

John has always been very committed to his wife Jill and his two (then) teenage boys and of course Livvie was with Patrick at the time and had her daughter with her on that trip and she was about 14. Patrick ended up going missing on a boat and people thought he went to live in Mexico. It made the headlines at the time. Liv met last husband John in that timeframe as John was a friend of her neighbours I believe. She ended up giving him one of her pups because he loved her pregnant dog. Long story short they got together again in 2005 and married and that was her last marriage. As for Liv's feelings for John Farnham, theirs has been more of a brotherly/sisterly love.

they were both born in England , i think John was 10 when he came to Australia and Olivia was 5 when she came . so that`s another bond between the two of them and they have been great mates throughout their careers . they are National Treasures to us 💖💖💖💖🥰🥰

I adore both John Farnham and Olivia. Still, when I think of this song, I think of John Travolta and Olivia Newton John in the Grease movie when I was a kid in Melbourne, Australia, in 1979, when they played it at a movie night at my school.
