hello suzi & travis . here's another hit from crazy night lp. this video came out in 1987. it had heavy air play on dial mtv, which was a viewers call in show to request a video. kiss was without makeup from 1983 till 1996 .

This is when Paul Stanley was basically running the KISS ship by himself. Because Gene Simmons was involved in many other projects. Paul told Gene he was displeased about his limited involvement in the band. Gene apologized and said he'd buy him a car. To make the story short Paul Stanley drove this car home after the video shoot. True story.

When this song came out...I was a freshman in high school...I wanted to be Paul Stanley so bad...I danced all over my bedroom pretending to be Paul leading the band...great times 🔥🤘🔥

One of my favorite Kiss songs. I loved Kiss with Bruce and Eric.. Bruce is my favorite Kiss guitarist, his solo's were just always so tasteful. And you can always tell a song written by Desmond Child. I think he's one of the greatest song writers of all time, he wrote a lot of Kiss' hits as well, as many other artists..Shoot he wrote like half of Bon Jovi's Slippery when Wet and New Jersey albums.

The woman in the video is Eloise Broady, she was a Playboy Playmate aeound that time. The car is actually a model/miniature.

The car on fire is a miniature. In the shots before, that is a 1987 Porsche 928 that Gene gave Paul for his birthday that year. He was BIG mad a few years later when Paul sold it.

If I’m not mistaken, this is one of a few Desmond Child/Diane Warren songs on this record. Child and Warren collaborated with quite a few of the 80’s Metal bands Ike Bon Jovi, Alice Cooper, etc. on some of the most popular hard rock/metal songs of that era.

Have you seen the pro-shot video of Animosity from one of their 2 Mexico City shows? The concerts were professionally recorded and the video is theater quality. I’m telling right now -you need to see it. Eventually the whole concert will be released but right now the only one public is Animosity from Teatro Metropolitan. Cheers.

Fun fact: The woman in this video PBPM Eloise Broady broke Paul's heart. He tried everything to hook up with her....but she wasn't having it...She did alright for herself though. She is a billionare now thanks to her marriage and her name now being Eloise DeJoria.

Gene Simmons got bit by the acting bug. He did four films between 1984 and 1989. The only that is worth seeing, IMO, is Runaway. Gene plays a tech genius inventor pursued by cop Tom Selleck. It is very good. This ballad, and Forever, off of the 1989 LP Hot in The Shade, are my two favorites from KISS. Paul Stanley absolutely nailed it on vocals on this. My only thing I had a problem with about in this one: The keyboard part is just a bit too much.

So, this is actually the second/censored version of the video...the first closes with her holding a gun, instead of burning the photo of her and Paul. Which of course led to all kinds of consternation even then.

Pretty crazy....but once Gene got back into the mix and they toured for this album, with Bruce and Eric, they were super tight. Those guys added the level they needed. I saw this tour and they performed this song almost perfectly. Paul's vocals were at an all time high level. There's a live video of it on youtube.

When I hear this song I think it could be taken as a anti - Suicide song for all the people that were bullied as child in school or anything else that went along the lines of wanting to self harm themselves even though the lyrics may say a different meaning there are a few lines that people can take from this song as positive and do things to change there life around for the better. Just like the song said everybody got dream and hunger inside now if that 1st dream fails find away to think of a different dream if you have that hunger inside of you cause if the 1st or second doesn't work out but your still dreaming for the 1st to happen maybe somewhere down the line one of your dreams will lead you back to the 1st if you keep that hunger inside and don't give up cause you have a reason to LIVE it may take you many times to dream but it can lead to the goal you had at the start just a different way to get there but yet your Alive

absolutely. Even rock stars have to face the same problems, demons and past as anyone else. Paul has stated his down times and that money may make it so you don't have to worry about money, but it can't take away the issues we face as humans and what other humans do.

80s Kiss has not aged well. This is a pretty good song, but the band looks so cheesy. Unholy was a huge comeback for Kiss with way less cheese. I think it's their best song.
