Blake Roman, Angel's VA, had never voiced acted before. He was basically a nobody going into the auditions and he KILLED it. I highly recommend listening to Poison next cause it shows just how good he can sing.

For context, Angel Dust sold his soul to the demon who runs ALL the brothels, porn studios, strip clubs and what not in hell to pay for his drug habit. Now, as part of his contract he HAS to work as a porstar for the demon and whenever he clocks into work he is literally incapable of refusing any of the demons orders until the work day is over and he can leave. Now add to this that Angel has the unfortunate luck of being among the demons top ten earners and you can probably imagine all the horrors he gets put through on a daily basis and what he might do to try and cope with it.

This is such a sweet song in context. The show does not shy away from dark content.

There are 16 sons in total in the show (2 per episode). To be honest, pick any of the other 15 songs at random. Someone will be happy you did, because they are all awesome. I would suggest leaving "You didn't know: and "Finale" for last though.

Hi, nice reaction. It’s obviously fresh and you haven’t seen the series so are unlikely to know the context of why they are singing. So while I don’t agree with your assessment, I understand as someone who only just saw this song, it may seem vulgar. For me though, it is surprisingly inspiring. A lot of the songs (2 for each episode for roughly 16 in total, although a few of them are reprises), have vulgar language but is not purely for shock value, it suits the tone of what is happening in the episode. IMHO, this song is surprisingly wholesome. Without spoiling too much for you, and before the Angel-Husk fans come after you if they haven’t already, the character Angel (tall six armed demon), is in an sexually abusive relationship, which majority of the show he hides under a seemingly shallow and horny attitude. The cat-like Husk is the first to call him out on his act which eventually led to them bonding as they are both broken or losers. Hence the song, yeah Angel is a sexually promiscuous sinner and abused victim, but Husk opens that he is also a victim and loser on a parallel level. (He is a chronic gambler and alcoholic and also enslaved to someone). And with this song, he invites Angel to go through shit together in order to let hope in their lives. Hope this comment is constructive for you. For your next reactions to Hazbin songs, just try to look beyond the vulgar language and listen to the story the character trying to tell. See ya.
