Your face when they were talking about black people or blowing up buses - priceless. Comedy should have no barriers. Unfortunately, today there is political correctness and Poland is one of the last bastions, but it is also slowly falling. Best regards from Ireland (I didn't have to send money to my parents :) )

that one played in UK - scandal... but in Poland, at least some years ago, speaking of the Arabs or Blacks could not be take seriously because we did not have them in the society. So it is like joking about Aliens or Eskimo

This performance is probably from 2007 or 2009, back then political correctness didn't really get to our asses. Such jokes were absolutely normal, and there was no outrage. Beautiful, uncompromising Poland that will never come back.

KMN are really good, but they were SO MUCH BETTER with Katarzyna Pakosińska (who appears in this sketch), Just watch ANYTHING with her, although the content would be a bit dated; she left the group in 2011 😪

it's extremely controversial, extremely racist, yet it's what people look for in comedy, so why not? :) I'm proud of being Polish and I'm happy that you like our comedy because I'm also in love with Scots culture(I'm still waiting to eat my first ever haggis, but I WILL!)

Co do huggies to nie zjadłeś jeszcze żadnego gdyż twoja matka kupowała tańsze pieluchy w miejscowym markecie i te zjadałeś z prawdziwą rozkoszą kiedy już były pełne. Nigdy nie szarpnęła się na oryginalny huggies ani pampers więc nie miałeś wcześniej okazji. Tak jak piszesz, wszystko przed tobą. Możliwe, że na starość ktoś ci założy oryginalny huggies i wtedy będziesz miał okazję żeby go zjeść kiedy już się zapełni. Smacznego.

To be precise "nie dla psa kiełbasa" actually means that you are not good enough as a being and you dont deserve something - like, for example, a dog doesn't deserve a good quality sausage :)) "Nie dla psa kiełbasa" - "The sausage is not for a dog" :) its from the old days when sausage was much more exclusive food than today :) Thats used in a very funny way in this one because he insults his wife a lot with that by basically saying that he wouldnt waste a roofie on her 😂

and yeah, "nie da spa kiełbasa" is litteraly translated to "sausage is not for the dog" and it's a rude saying of it's just not for you or you're never get it

"Sausage is not for dog" is a quite common insulting phrase you'd use when you want to let someone know that they're not good enough to have something. I can't think of anything similar in English.

It very skillfully exposes and discredits the backwards views and stereotypes about foreign countries that still exist in some of the older generations. It does so in way that's very close to the bone, but that's what makes it all the more effective. Btw, they're not trying to be 'good parents' , they're trying to use him as a cash cow! 😂

They say loud what everybody think, this is controversial for countries west of Poland, it shows that we still have freedom of speech not like everybody else in west. We have jokes about germans for example, but it was not a problem for me to drink a beer with a german guy, i think xenophobia is not making jokes about each other or telling the truth, xenophopia and racism is when i hate you, because who you are and i want eliminate you or something, not when we make jokes about each other. If we have different culture or race we are funny to each other because what is normal for me is not normal for you somethimes.

That joke about "be careful they don't put anything in your drink" is particularly ironic considering Poland had a US Embassy warning due to all the cases of drink spiking and robbery of tourists from abroad. Many countries still mention this about Poland in their travel advisory webpages. So, it's rather the other way round - in Poland, be careful they don't put something in your drink...
