The Immortal Songs tv show performances are a whole nother kettle of fish than the Immortal Songs Medley they performed in concert. MMM appeared on Immortal Songs 14 times between 2015-19 and Solar competed afterwards as a soloist. The tv network blocks Immortal Songs reactions unless you filter the original video so watch them on your own time if you don't want to go through the hassle. Imo you don't know Mamamoo until you've seen them on Immortal Songs - they're some of the most spectacular vocal performances you'll ever see by a kpop girl group. My favorites are Delilah (a Korean version of the Tom Jones hit from the 60's) and the beautiful ballad Backwoods but you might want to start with their debut performance on the show, Wait a Minute. Hard to believe they were raw rookies at that time. Paint Me is the theme song of their four album series 4 Season 4 Color. The song and the deceptively simple MV introduce the main concepts and cyclical symbolism used throughout the 4S4C project. Paint Me is one of MMM's main vocal masterpieces in a recording studio along with I Miss You and Where Are We Now (the song you said you loved and asked for the title). The clip with Moonbyul rapping on Paint Me is from an alternate "orchestral" arrangement they performed to start their 4+ hour long 4 Seasons F/W concerts in 2019, a year and a half after Paint Me was first released. Moonbyul sang rather than rapped on the original recording and she added that rap verse for the concert version. They later recorded the orchestral arrangement of Paint Me on their 2 cd career retrospective album I Say Mamamoo: The Best in 2021. Btw, there are other layers to the 4 Season 4 Color project besides matching the music to a season and a color. Each title track explored a stage of love in a four part relationship cycle corresponding to the seasons and there are hints of an ongoing series of life cycles via reincarnation and various other ideas from Asian philosophy such as yin & yang and Taoist 5 element color theory. Each album also included a self-composed solo song by the member assigned to that season's color. Yes, Maria is the name Hwasa took when she was baptized as a Catholic. In the song she opens up about all the hate she has received. The bookend song on the Maria album is called LMM (Lost My Mind), which is a very different take on the same subject stylistically and emotionally with an MV that is just as gorgeous as the song (the clips with the arrows are from the LMM MV). Imo Maria and LMM were the two most important and socially impactful kpop songs of 2020 besides being musical masterpieces. The Wheein song you asked about is called Goodbye.
