Before this performance Charlie sang on the plattform YY without showing himself. The director of "The Voice of China" became aware of his singing and invited him several times. Charlie declined twice because he still had little self-confidence. For the third season in 2014, the director invited him again with much emphasis and Charlie finally accepted. This was his first appearance on a public stage while he was still studying bel canto in Ukraine. Charlie picked a song from the sister of the judge who pushed the button first. I think the other judges didn't turn around earlier because they wanted to wait for his reaction first. The judge who didn't turn around also liked Charlie's singing but he was into rock music and felt that Charlie wouldn't fit into his team.

Personally Zhoushen though the first time appeared in public had shown his professional skill in his vocal control and representation. A perfect CD interpretation and performance. Personally Zhoushen sang better than all the four judges. Time proves it!

The first judge to turn around was the older brother of the original singer Qi Yu, and the rest of the judges depend on Qi Qin's reaction and affirmation. This song is the first time I know Zhou Shen, a talented singer, and I'm still addicted to his singing to this day.

Shenshen's voice is so angelic. He's one of my favorite singer and he did this beautiful song justice. Several people thought that it was a girl singing before he revealed his face to the public. He also took part in the show "The Masked Singer" and wore a dress. If he had appeared as a male singer, it would have been easy to guess who was behind the mask. I think your next reaction should be to the song Dalabengba. You haven't seen him perform like that so far. 😁

I really love his voice. He covered a lot of English songs, such as "Champions","My heart will go on","Just like fire","Think of me","Memory" and "This is me". He also had his own English songs like "Rubia", "Sanctuary" and "My only".

Shen's voice is beautiful and he sings with so much passion. His road to fame was full of struggles and prejudices but he finally got the attention he deserves. Hopefull you'll also react to either Dalabengba or Captain Kabule. In both songs he sings different characters with different voices. I would have turned after 5 seconds. Zhou Shen's voice is a cure for our souls. I hope you'll also react to "The Song of Heaven Island" (a spooky song), "Dalabengba" (an upbeat song that is pure fun) and "Ring the doorbell, listen by myself" (hauntingly beautiful).

This is a very famous old song in China. I guess the judges were waiting for Zhou Shen to hit a critical note.

I was so sad that Zhoushen was the best singer in the group. Ultimately the female judge brushed Zhoushen down and chose the other guy who has no way to compare with Zhoushen. Too much politics going on even in “Super Vocal” Zhoushen was the best but not given a chance to be the top 6. Personally it was simply ridiculous!

His name can be pronounced as Zhoohh Shern. He does not speak English or Cantonese well at that time but he could sing them beautifully. But ZS will probably master them as he’s a very smart & determined young man. He speaks Ukrainian and Russian bcoz he studied in Ukraine and took his countertenor lessons with an excellent music professor at Lviv Conservatory of Music. He loves music since young to escape the loneliness & later, verbal bullying during middle school. They’re his refuge where he can enter a different world that makes him happy. His parents sent him to Ukraine to study dentistry but his 1st love is always music. After he switched major, he begged his favorite music professor there to take him on as his student but was refused several times. He never gave up and went again & again & again daily over 3 months. Finally his persistence & potential impressed the professor so much that he relented. Unfortunately that professor passed away a few years ago without telling ZS of his illness. Subsequently ZS flew there to pay his respects at his grave site. ZS was a shy & humble but has now morphed into a sharp-tongue, funny & still humble person, being more confident with time. He joined the Voice at age 21 but was eliminated by a female judge called NA Ying whom I greatly detest for her denigration of one prolific & excellent singer/composer who had composed >1500 songs, named Dao Lang aka Sharp Wolf, whose songs are wildly popular throughout China in the early 2000s. Daolang was the only singer whose single sold 270 million copies overnight in China without any agent or recording company . That female judge was insanely jealous and egoistic tho she has connections & influence. She thot ZS looked unappealing and has no charisma. Anyway, ZS is now 30 going in 31 but still looks like a high school kid. So glad he’s wildly successful. He’s constantly try to choose songs that are meaningful . He strives to be an inspiration to young people wherever he goes, and urges them to never ever give up their dreams, to persist and to believe in themselves. He also strives to be more creative and positive in whatever he does. He’s now given the recognition he truly deserves. I believe ZS has got a photographic ear and memory. If you copy n paste his Chinese name 周深 in KZfaq, you can find & choose any of his songs to react to weekly. His fans will come to your site to hear what you have to say. He is now the No. 1 artist in China where many shows want him to be in it. Producers want him to sing the theme songs for their movies or TV Series.
