Kind of sad about him not telling the - in my point of view- funniest thing to this story. Which is that when he woke up the next morning, the mortuary people were already there to pick his mum up. And that when they came in through the back door, they first saw Bingo sprawled across the sofa and thought that she was the corpse needing a lift, tried to move her at which point the woman who took care of his mum and made the call had to step in and point them to the hospital bed. You should read the book, great story!
