Reactivating windows after a Hardware change on PC:
In this video I will show you how to reactivate Windows 10 after motherboard change in my PC.
I m already having original Windows 10 PRO. Today, I Changed my PC's motherboard. So that my windows OS is deactivated.
Windows 10 will be deactivated if you make any changes to Computer hardware such as motherboard, processor or any storage device. The Windows 10 will not going to identify as same device and will show error code 0xC004F211.
This video will help reactivate windows 10 or windows 11 on your PC/Laptop.

Didn't even have to watch the whole video. Problem was fixed by one minute mark, thanks good work. Windows deactivated after a BIOS update and was worried I was going to have to call Microsoft like last time I purchased a new motherboard.

I cannot believe this worked. I changed my motherboard, said I changed hardware and selected the name of my PC before I changed mobos, and it activated

What ended up working for me was changing the boot os type from other os to windows UEFI and i was able to reactivate windows after booting

I changed the motherboard, nothing else, so it can't reactivate, can I do anything?

@@Yellow_Rebel I did! I used the same old code, which worked, I don't know how, or why, it looks like, if the code is not currently used, you can "re use" hope this helps

Still won't activate, recently changed mobo and cpu. Had my original win-7 license, which was upgraded to windows-11 on old machine. Any tips?

Was it an OEM machine? I heard that they sometimes don't transfer the license, take that with a grain of salt as I am not a Microsoft employee. I would think it should still work though as years ago I had the same problem and had to call Microsoft, they did something quick during a technicians "teams" call or whatever they call their techs "Zoom" program, since then I never had a problem until i did a BIOS update hence why I am here. Always make sure you are talking to a verified tech before allowing them to take control of your PC though for obvious reasons. You may just have to bite the bullet and buy a key though, it should be transferable.

Hi! Is there a way to update the memory size shown at the Microsoft Account website? Or it will always show the amount of RAM you had when you first activate that license?

While activating lisence it automatically taking the RAM size from PC.

@@Infinetsoftsolutions So if I want to transfer this license in the future to a new setup AM5 motherboard + DDR5 RAM (I'm currently using AM4 B450M motherboard + DDR4 RAM) I'll have to put a DDR5 RAM 8GB first to match the DDR4 RAM 8GB that was used in the first activaction to do this transfer and only then will I be able to install my 2x16GB?

This week I switched my motherboard (AB350M to B450M) and years ago I had already added another stick of 8GB DDR4 RAM to the 8GB I already had (16GB in total), but when I activated my copy of Windows 10 for the first time in 2018 the computer had only 8 GB DDR4 RAM installed. So yesterday when I tried to transfer this license to the new motherboard with 16GB DDR4 RAM installed (2x8GB) I got several error messages even though the device name was the same on the Microsoft Account website. I contacted Microsoft support but they couldn't help me, your video was the only solution! When I removed one 8GB RAM stick the activation process went smoothly. Thank you for that!!! 😀👍👏 My remain question is: in a future update when I switch to the new AMD platform (AM5 motherboard and 32GB DDR5 RAM), will I be able to transfer this digital license again without problems with the 32GB DDR5 RAM (2x16GB) already installed on the motheboard or will I have to transfer the license first to the motherboard with an 8GB DDR5 memory stick installed and only after the transfer is complete will I be able to add the two 16GB memory sticks?
