Most of us go out with our reactive dogs without a plan and hope we never see a dog. That’s no way to live nor train. Here we discuss all of what needs to be done prior to taking your dog into a potentially losing situation. All the steps you need to take proactively so that both you and your dog are conditioned to handle what’s around the corner.

Our mali is so reactive now we 've essentially stopped going out on walks due to fear of constant reactivity. We need to learn to start from the basics now I fear.

Start out at a big open park, just working on getting in and out of the car. Give that mal a fun game getting in and out of the car and give yourself a ton of room to work.

I have fed my dogs a raw diet of 80% muscle meat, 10% bone, 10% organ meat. Be sure to assess if they need any supplements like certain oils, however meat like fish can offer that.
