I'm kinda conflicted. I cried of joy seeing Anaking reunited with Ahsoka, but hearing Vader's theme at the end make me think it might not be Anakin but Vader. I loved this episode 😢😢😢😢😢😢

The prodigal son returns! The significance of the Vader theme at the end is that even though Anakin Skywalker was redeemed in Return of the Jedi, he still left behind a dark and infamous legacy as Darth Vader.

The smile that Hayden gives in combo with the de-aging really gives Clone Wars vibes with the snarky grin he always gave Ahsoka. Then it cuts back to Ahsoka looking the most like her Clone Wars self they've done in Live Action

I think what makes the reveal work is how it plays on our knowledge of The World Between Worlds. We know from before that anyone in there can hear people from across time, so at first we think Ahsoka is hear Anakin say ‘Hello Snips’ from the past, but the follow up line ‘I didn’t expect to see you so soon’ give away that he’s aware of her presence.

I reacted the same way as Louise Julie. I got up on my feet when i heard "hello snips" and started screaming when i saw anakin. Definitely brought tears to my eyes. Got a little ominous with the vader theme tho but good to see hayden christiansen getting the love he deserves.

BizzyBron is the first fan reaction that knew exactly it was Anakin that says Hello Snips 👍. I could even tell it was Anakin voice too. Next episode is gonna be epic !! I can see this being post-Jedi redeemed Anakin and appearing as his younger self (for now), but then changing to Vader and then to Hayden as now as a Force Ghost and explaining to her that things went the way they did by the will of the force. Then Anakin shows what would have happened had she been involved when she wasnt supposed to be, yet

Anakin as we see him here is meant to represent maybe the last time Ashoka saw Anakin (Cw season 7) before his fall to the dark side. Though we see him with his Jedi Robes and brandishing his Vader Lightsaber maybe we see an Anakin that is him but also Vader the conflict within him remains. Even in Death.
