Just recently watched Batman 89 with my son for the first time. He really enjoyed the movie and when he saw Michael Keaton in this trailer he got more hype than me and I was the one a kid in 89 watching Keaton in the role first lol

I was 11 yrs old when Keaton’s batman first came out and it blew my mind. So him reprising his role and hearing that score took me way back. Excited is an understatement

@@Jasobroc87 keaton is the original dark knight and the one that started it before keaton it was adam west's cape crusader era so yes u was right and no keaton is not 2nd he's the first. it was keaton that started the dark knight era of batman then val kilmer came 2nd then Clooney came in at 3rd all allegedly in the same continuity despite the fact that burton and schumacher batman's are in different universes (Schumacherverse & BurtonVerse) and batman '89 comic explores what batman 3 would've look like under tim burton using theories and supposed script that apparently doesn't exist but that's a different story. also "Bale > Affleck >" came way later so idk wtf they're talking about but anyway yeah keaton is the first bcuz burton reinvented the character and wanted batman to be taken seriously for the first time by turning batman into the dark knight using gothic & dark themes in batman '89 and '92's returns. burton's batman also pave the way for btas all before schumacher came in ran out keaton and brought batman back down into cape crusader era with bat nipples, bat credit cards and all that other garbage to the point that nobody wanted to touch ip until 9 years later when Nolan came in and wanted to tell a story that he thought wasn't ever told before and revived batman franchise back into greatness again and the rest is history.

After more than 30 years Michael Keaton returns as Batman. 🦇🖤 Hearing that "I'm Batman' again was amazing. 🤯 I was not alive yet when they were realesed but I love the Tim Burton's Batman movies with their style and atmosphere. Honestly I actually thought I was done with comic book movies for a while at this point which I pretty much am for a few years at least…. but I am going to see this one simply because of Michael Keaton‘s return…. it takes a lot to get me really excited and a trailer, and this gives me the same feeling as when I saw David Dunn at the end of “Split”…… Let’s just hope the follow up movie is actually something good

Oh wow! I so love Keaton reveals in this. Quick history lesson: So after the late great Christopher Reeve's outing as Superman, they needed someone to take on the roll of the next big DC hero: Bruce Wayne/Batman. Tim Burton was slated to direct. They chose someone who instantly sent people into hissies: Michael Keaton. HOW could they choose a comedic performer for this role? Keaton revealed just how great an actor he was, but also how well he understood what was needed for this character. And he delivered this genius in two fantastic movies. All due respect to the Christopher Nolan movies, I don't think those would have been tried had Tim Burton/Michael Keaton's Batman movies not paved the way. I'm so happy Keaton is getting the recognition he deserves.

All these years I left my childhood behind playing outdoors, no cell phones, Saturday morning wrestling on TV, old school cartoons, out at the park playing some ball, telling scary stories while spending the night at friends house… and yet, here I am a 40-year-old who suddenly traveled back in time to see the best Batman ever. Thank you Flash for taking me back in time to bring the child out of me. This movie is going to rock!

Anyone arguing who the best Batman ever was needs to watch all these folks in their 20s reacting to Michael Keaton, who weren't, or were barely, born when he first came out. He IS the GOAT Batman. Period.
