Bloater most iconic kill

The bloater surpassed my expectations and more!..10/10 😮👌🏻have to say though i was a bit dissapointed that after Henry telling Joel there was infected in the tunnels that have been locked in there since the start of the outbreak and that there should only be a couple of them left i would have much preferred to have 2 or 3 badass armoured bloaters come up and cause mayhem rather than the HUGE mass of runners and clickers we got...only because it would have made more sense that after 20 years down there the infected would have either been dead with just the fungus spreading over the area and a few bloaters/late stage clickers left. also everyone knows just a couple of clickers alone are a big enough threat so it didn't make sense to have a horde of runners aswell as that many clickers and only 1 bloater, and i found myself wondering where the hell they all disappeared to by the next morning when they buried Henry&Sam...we didn't get to see the aftermath and i was super frustated that Joel and Ellie didnt even seem to see the bloater!..but that aside i loved the episode overall and would love to know if anyone felt the same?!..i'm sure we'll encounter more bloaters to come anyway i just hope it's not ages away!👌🏻🙏🏻

That whole hospital sequence is gonna be fucking NIGHTMARISH. Can’t wait to watch that all play out.

True show showed that killing a Clicker was so tough and it's rare to kill it . Imagine how you can face a Bloater.

I like how they showed the same head splitting death as would happen if Joel got caught by the Bloater in the Game. Great way to give further nod to the game.

@@jimmymcgill2557 It's not possible for every infected to grow into a bloater. At most, they may become a clicker or get stuck in the furniture, walls and other places. Only a large size and buff can thrive to become a bloater Watch Roanoke gaming's video about bloater to know more about it.

It had to be a Stalker because it somehow knew Ellie was in the truck and a full-on Clicker wouldn't have been able to detect her in there.

@@guts9160 So as virus not letting people die, i am assuming it also restricts ageing? They do takes 10 years to be converted into clickers, but she is in same size as when she got infected. She is still in beginning stage of conversion. Those they engage in 2nd episode(with tess alive) were fully grown clickers.

My thoughts exactly. This was gave me massive World War Z vibes when that happened. And strangely, vibes from the infamous gorge scene from both Lion King movies. This was also where I may have slightly underestimated the numbers of Infected underground. Slightly. When Henry said there were infected underground, I knew there were many but not THAT many! I don't think horde could even come close to describing the number of infected pouring out of there because this was a fucking STAMPEDE of infected.

I was expecting it based on what happened in the original game, the commercials, and the previous episode's foreshadowing. Didn't make the delivery any less awesome, though.

Technically he's right it's just the shambles is a mutation of the bloater. It's caused when a bloater is exposed to a lot of water. Since we see bloaters in dryer climates that's why no shambles are present yet.

Shamblers are kinda their own thing on par with bloaters or maybe a bit worse.
