"He really sounds like Jaskier!" Good catch, Sharm! That IS Jaskier! Part of what helped Joey Batey get the roll of Jaskier in The Witcher was his experience and skill as a musician. All of The Amazing Devil's songs are incredible, I really think you'll enjoy a deep dive! BTW, have you reacted to anything from Colm McGuiness?

Like yourself, last year I listened to this gem without knowing what I was getting in for. It floored me. I ended up listening to their whole album that night. Don't know if it's the theatrical background that lends it that something extra, but either way, chills all the way! So glad to see it got to you too 😄Welcome to the other side 🎶

I was all 'why does this sound so familiar' and it's because the algorithm gods introduced me to "The Amazing Devil" awhile ago, but I only really listen when they pop up in my feed, so I forget their name.

This song is in my top 5 from this band. i agree with 'phenomenal' because a combination of lyrics and voice plus that musical track, its like a spell. If your interested in another "drinking song for the socially anxious" is fun, funny, but some of the plays on words are fantastic and the gentle feel of the vocals is fantastic. Thank you for reacting to this. it was a pleasure to watch.

Don't feel bad about not recognizing him- I literally stumbled upon an actual music video for this song by them and watched it at least 10 times before I realized it was Joey Batey! I was literally *staring at him* and didn't clock him!
