@@reactswithjax Exactly 💯. We love your reaction videos Jax and you'd be a great Jean Grey or Rogue cosplay 😄. The X-Men movies have gone through so much continuity changes with the Time travel and timeline alterations it's crazy 😧.This has nothing to do with the video but please listen if you want to otherwise leave it alone and ignore it. Hello my name is Justin and I'm a Christian and Apologist but I'm also a college graduate. I'm not a closed minded Theist as I have nothing against Atheists or unbelievers as I speak to them often to understand their reasons for unbelief but we as Christians are convinced of God's Existence due to many real factors). I'm not trying to convert anyone or convince anyone to become Christians as that's The Holy Spirit's job to help people believe but only explain why I believe in Jesus Christ. There's actually evidence of God's Existence in Christianity. First of all there's proof that Jesus of Nazareth existed in history since the writings of Tacitus, Josephus Flavius, Pliny the younger and other historical documents prove that He was living two thousand years ago that even scholars both religious and Atheists agree with historically speaking but not that He's The Divine Son of God because obviously they don't. I'm going to give you historical and archeological evidence for God's Existence as The Scriptures have prophecies that predate the events recorded in them by several millennia including Matthew, Hosea and Zechariah which prophesy accurately of the people of Israel becoming a nation again after over 1900 years of being scattered around the nations since the destruction of the Temple in Jerusalem in 70 A.D. spoken of by Christ in Matthew 23:29-24:3 and returning to their homeland after The Holocaust with Jerusalem as their capital in 1948 exactly as Jesus The Christ said. The prophets including Daniel spoke of the time where several world empires would arise and fall including the Babylonian kingdom, Medes and Persians, Roman Empire, and Saladin and the Muslims which went in consecutive order for the past few millennia. The people of Israel becoming a nation after The Holocaust in 1948 (ironically the melting point of gold as God compares Israel to gold that's tested in fire in Zechariah 13:8 and Jeremiah 16:15) exactly how Jesus The Christ said would happen since God us everything to come in The Scriptures and not just because people were working towards as Atheists claim which are impossible for any regular man to predict. Just before anyone says Christianity is a white man's religion made to oppress blacks during slavery you obviously aren't aware that the first Christians were Jews in The Middle East and that Christianity just like any religion can be used by evil and corrupt people to oppress others but you forget that the first Abolitionists/Civil Rights activists were Christians who sought to abolish slavery, racism, segregation, injustice and prejudice throughout American history. Jesus The Christ loves you enough not to give you what we all deserve which is God's Wrath by His Own Blood. Charles Darwin didn't originally come up with The Theory of Evolution over 200 years ago as it is mentioned in the writings of Ancient Greeks who believed in Demons that gave knowledge to philosophers. Evolution makes no sense when nothing has evolved after thousands of years of human history and supposedly the first creature came from primordial sludge several millions of years ago funny how they won't believe that God an Eternal Almighty Spirit Being created us from the Earth) which came from a supermassive expansion of matter at high temperature that inexplicably created everything in the known universe that supposedly came from nothing billions of years ago. How did the organs evolve before there were bones, skin, substance and how did any creatures see before eyes evolved? I've studied evolution and abiogenesis in the past and read Darwin's " Origin of The Species" and I'm not convinced of macro Evolutionary biology whereas I accept micro Evolution like speciation and adaptation but not macro Evolution because there's no evidence of it nor clear observable examples of it where living creatures evolve into other kinds of species plus the fact that fossils don't show evidence of evolution and genetic entropy rules out evolution. The question begs how did two genders evolve from a common ancestor with a perfectly hospitable and sustainable environment with breathable oxygen and resources to survive on inexplicably? Atheists have the burden of proof to explain how everything came to be and why our existence is possible without the Existence of God from an godless perspective just as Christians have to provide evidence of God's Existence and the validity of His Word. Evolution requires life to already exist in order to take any effect in living organisms so it doesn't account for the existence of Life and reality. Also evolution is impossible because it goes against The Law of entropy and the second Law of thermodynamics because evolution makes things better whereas nothing continues to get better but decays and turns to absolute destruction in the end. Mark Ridley an Evolutionist said "No evolutionist whether gradualist or punctuationist uses the fossil record as evidence in favor of The Theory of Darwinian Evolution as opposed to special Creation". God's Existence is made perfectly known and observable in the universe as demonstrated in His Handiwork in the intelligently designed manner that Creation was made, human consciences and consciousness historical and archaeological evidence of God's Word being valid history, fulfillment of Bible Prophecies God in His Holiness and Righteousness could give us what we deserve in Hell for our since but He's merciful to give us free will to choose to accept or reject His gift of salvation by grace through faith in His Son Jesus. I don't mean this is any condescending manner but if you'd like to discuss The Scriptures with me or have me listen to your view on anything my instagram account is Savage Christian Kombatant

@@razorsfury6519 1.) In this particular continuity (i.e. First Class through to at least Apocalypse) it's *heavily* implied that Quicksilver is the biological son of Magneto, particularly in the next movie. 2.) Whether or not Magneto is the biological father of Wanda and Pietro Maximoff in the Marvel 616 comics continuity is very much debatable depending on which comics writer has creative control of the plot and which of the *many* retcons regarding their origins that those writers have done over the course of the comics you happen to favour - but even then, regardless of where you land on that, the established lore of the Marvel 616 continuity has little to no bearing on any of the Marvel movie continuities. Almost all of the characters in the X-Men movie franchises have back-stories that differ substantially from their Marvel 616 counterparts.

This movie came out a year before Age of Ultron, so it was our first introduction to Quicksilver on the big screen. It was actually a little disappointing when he appeared in the MCU, a little less interesting and killed off super early, the X-Men version is usually considered the better portrayal and it's why it was so HUGE when the actor came to play him in the MCU. But fun fact, both Quicksilvers had acted on-screen together before in the superhero film series Kick-Ass. AoU Quicksilver, Aaron Taylor Johnson, played Kick-Ass while X-Men Quicksilver, Evan Peters, played one of his best friends turned hero Ass-Kicker. The sentinels are probably the most famous X-Men "antagonist", they're usually giants about as tall as a building and are almost impossible to defeat. The island of Genosha, which was a nation that was a haven for mutants, was beset upon by sentinels and it caused the deaths of 16.5 million mutants. It was the first and biggest mutant genocide, that 16.5 was out of only 17.5. The mutants battling to stop future dystopias is kind of common in Marvel. The future is always extremely _bleak._ In this storyline Kitty was the one who travelled to the past.

Days of Future Past is arguably the greatest superhero movie ever made. It's smart, slick and tight. Every time I watch this movie, I have the same reactions to everything that happens and Ive seen Days of FuturePast many times since it first came out. Its almost as if James Cameron made it himself. 🤔 Days of Future Past is a timeless masterpiece. The Quicksilver scenes alone put this movie on another level. Everyone went into this movie expecting to hate him and his look. But thanks to expert craftsmanship, Quicksilver INSTANTLY won over almost everyone. Then Evan Peters totally earns all the love with his delivery of lines like "WhipLAAASH." The timeless complexity of the Paris Peace Conference scene is another great example of why Days of Future Past is the best. There is so much going on in one scene, it could be super easy for the audience to get lost. But the craftsmanship of the scene holds everything together, despite all of the tension and emotions.

While this film is great, it's not perfect. One big flaw is that sending people back in time is not in her power base. She phases through solid matter. Nothing to do with time manipulation. All of a sudden she has a new power. HUH?! In the original comic Kitty has just joined the X-MEN like I believe a few weeks before these events. In the future they send Kitty to the past not Woverine and what convinces them that it is Kitty from the future (because it was her mind not her body that was sent to her younger self) was her reaction to Nightcrawler. Present day Kitty was always uncomfortable around Kurt(Nightcrawler) because of his Demonic appearance. She's a sweet Jewish girl after all. When older Kitty saw him she hugged him and was so glad to see him because he had died in the battle in the future. And still doesn't explain her new power. The alternate "Rogue cut" of this film has a better scenario for the time travel. In that version Rogue absorbs someone's ability for time manipulation and combines it with telepathy to send Logans mind to his past self. Much better than Kitty pulling a new power out of her tail.

Iceman is one of the most powerful mutants in the world. He holds back in the movies. The “robots” are sentinels. They were designed to take out mutants in anyway possible. But iceman, like I said, holds back on a lot. Kitty is pretty powerful, but Bobby can use the h20 in your body. He could turn it into ice and destroy your body.

Magneto's power is not magnetic. He controls metals through some handwavium method. If he truly just affected magnetic fields, then he would only be able to control iron, steel, steel alloys, and other ferrous alloys. He would not be able to affect bullets (lead, antimony, & sometimes copper), aluminum, brass, bronze, tin, uranium, bismuth, sintered ceramics, etc. nor semi-metallic elements like silicon.

Yep. Something I've been saying for years. He controls metal, regardless of whether it's magnetic or not. You're thinking only of Ferromagnetism not Diamagnetism and Paramagnetism. Non ferrous metals and non metals can be temporarily magnetic under strong magnetic fields. Electricity and magnetism are connected, anything with an electric current can have a magnetic field and vice versa. Each electron on an atom acts like a magnet. Even Hydrogen atoms in water can act like magnets in MRI machines and Tokamak Fusion reactors.

I like Nicholas Hoult as Beast but tbh I kinda prefer Kelsey Grammar. It has absolutely nothing to do with the acting; just the writing. I get Hoult is supposed to be young Beast but we never get to see him as that pacifist sophisticate. Like Hoult's Beast never quotes Shakespeare or says things like "Stars and garters," he's a bit more of an everyman, which I think gives him slightly less flavor. Still a great performance though and I'm curious what other people think.

To be fair, there is *some* continuity in the X-Men world. Problem is, they don't do a great job maintaining it from movie to movie. The X-Men series kicked off well before the MCU made super-strict adherence to continuity across an entire shared cinematic universe a major selling point for movie franchises. So filmmakers would come and go within the franchise and were primarily concerned with telling the stories they wanted to tell, and there wasn't someone overseeing it all and keeping track of the little details from movie to movie to make sure they all added up. The X-Men movies also had to do some course correction when things weren't going well for the series.

Mystique does not have healing abilities like Logan but her powers do allow her to keep her cells young prolonging her life, she is as old as Logan maybe even older. There are comics about Logan and Mystique knowing each other back in the west and have even been lovers at times before having his memories wiped, but Mystique constantly double crossing him gives Logan a natural distrust of her even if he doesn't remember her.

He can be ruthless, short sighted, and controlled by emotions. An unstable individual with one of the strongest power sets. Hey, Jacqueline! I absolutely love this movie! The fusion of both casts and the juggling of so many moving parts was near virtuosic! Had you seen THE ROGUE CUT, as was recommended, you would have seen Anna Paquin's Rogue brought back into the fold for a phenomenal action sequence in which Magneto and Charles really cut loose barely getting away with their lives from the Sentinels! DO NOT watch the films in release order! Follow this RECOMMENDED ORDER instead which keeps the multiple timelines orderly and enables the young cast to have a consecutive trilogy with "Days of Future Past" set in the 1970s, "Apocalypse" set in the 1980s, "Dark Phoenix" set in the 1990s and "Deadpool" set in the 2000s. "Deadpool" does NOT come next! The end-credit scene ties into "X-MEN: APOCALYPSE"! I rank this film higher than X2 because it came closer to approximating its comic book inspiration despite the "Days of Future Past" source material being a greater level of difficulty to adapt than "God Loves, Man Kills". I always give the X films latitude with respect to comic accuracy because they continue laying track for a locomotive that already left the station. Despite some unavoidable relationship and plot changes, this adaptation really captures the spirit of the Claremont era. The powerful duality of Charles and Erik remains the core of these films and you get a double dose of it here: as young antagonists making a temporary alliance and as weary, regretful veterans reconciling while facing extinction. JLaw's Mystique remains the moral fulcrum, Evan Peters' Quicksilver delivers a bravura showpiece stunt and Hugh Jackman's Wolverine gets to play in the same sandbox with the kids! The dystopic future sequence is particularly horrific apocalyptically presenting the deaths of iconic characters. New talent is showcased in that thrilling trademark style of powers used in concert with Blink's use of portals being an amazing highlight! Just like the use of the Cuban Missile Crisis in "First Class", "Future Past" also cleverly blends history into the mix with Nixon, the JFK assassination and the Zapruder-like footage of the Parisian incident. The dangling plot thread of Mystique-Stryker goes nowhere leaving Wolverine's story between now and "Apocalypse" open to speculation and the utopian ending that reunites the original cast leaves their parallel 21st-century adventures open to speculation. However, there's no shortage of X foes like Mr. Sinister, the Brood, Sauron, Bastion, Selene, Exodus, Proteus, Reavers, etc that could have come into play and plenty of unresolved contention between Mags and Charley that could have easily flared up providing fodder for numerous exploits. The speculation is part of the fun! RECOMMENDED VIEWING ORDER: X-Men X2: X-Men United X3: The Last Stand X-Men Origins: Wolverine X-Men: First Class The Wolverine: Extended Cut X-Men: Days of Future Past: The Rogue Cut X-Men: Apocalypse X-Men: Dark Phoenix Deadpool New Mutants Logan Deadpool 2 X-MEN TIMELINES: Egypt --> 1845 --> Nagasaki --> First Class --> DOFP --> Origins ------------------------------------------------> X1 --> X2 --> X3 --> Wolverine -------> New Mutants ---------------------------> Logan Egypt --> 1845 --> Nagasaki --> First Class --> DOFP ----------------> Apocalypse --> Dark Phoenix ------------------------------------------------> Deadpool --> Deadpool 2 -------> DOFP Utopia Egypt --> 1845 --> Nagasaki --> First Class --> DOFP ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------> DOFP Dystopia
