I was in a reading slump cause I just had too many books on my TBR, so I watched one of your older videos about the best books to read to get you out of a reading slump, and I ended up getting The Dark Elements series (ebook).....pulled an all-nighter....read them all through the night, taught virtual classes off of no sleep and I don’t regret it. Needless to say, slump is gone! Thanks!

I was dying listening to you talking about storm front, I knew i felt the same way and I just went to goodreads to see what I wrote about it I 2015 and it was basically “he compares two different females to cheerleaders within 4 pages”. I couldn’t get past it and never continued on with the series even though everyone says it gets better.

I would really like to read those books because of the setting and genre and everything.. but everything I have heared about how the women are written/described/treated just makes me shudder and I honestly don't think I could enjoy that - which is kinda sad

I had a huge issue with how Harry interacts with women at the beginning of the series, like to the point where I nearly stopped reading. But as he grows as a person that kind of stuff lessens and I am SO glad I continued on and got to see that change. It's really great to watch him grow as he learns. Also the world building later on is just *chef's kiss*

I was so excited to get tons of reading done during this quarantine (I was finally going to take part in the Magical Readathon..) but with everything going on I've actually been in a huge reading slump, can't concentrate on anything.. (plus I still have school so I'm not like "omg so much free time what am I going to do" haha). Seing all of these Reading Rush vlogs is definitely motivating though, slowly getting back into it !

I can confirm that Vancouver/British Columbia is, indeed, a place lost in space & time haha. This was a captivating video. I know this because I watched all 44 minutes in one sitting and didn't switch tabs once. Crazy! I gave Dangerous Alliance a 3 Star as well. Try Promised by Leah Garriott. It’s a regency as well with elements of Austen. Loved it! It’s under the same Proper Romance line as Edenbrooke.

I am on my third reread of the Dresden files! I am on book four and I absolutely love the audiobooks. James Marsters does a great job narratoring them. I really hope you like the series and continue on

I really liked The Glass Hotel too! Station Eleven is one of my all time favorites, and in my opinion it wasn’t anywhere on that level (but what is). I told my husband if someone asked me what The Glass Hotel was about, I wouldn’t be able to tell them lol. Like you said, it’s so jumpy and disorienting. Still enjoyed it though!

I felt everything you said about dresden! I just read the first book this week and I had a good enough time but there were a few moments where he was describing women and I was just a bit like, ugh, guess this is for men. I mean it wasn't the worst ever but it was a little jarring. I hope you read on because I want to see if you agree with everyone that it gets better aha!

I thought you were doing the O.W.L.S magical readathon this year... or am I losing my mind (which is a valid option this far into quarentine)? Also, I'm forever jealous of Clay for playing drumms! I have 2 questions for you regan. One: how many pages would you say you read on average in an hour? Also 2: have you read sightwitch yet? I know you’ve at least read truthwitch and windwitch. If you haven’t you should consider moving it up on your list ;p I just finished it and it is definitely the best novella/prequel I’ve ever read. It was just incredible and I’d love to hear your thoughts on it!
