we're reading The Assassin’s Quest at the same time and that's exactly how I felt about the beginning of the book :) It surprised me that how much emotion was packed in the first pages, and made me attached to the story more and more. Let's hope it gets better and better!

Regan, can you please do a video on how you pick books you love, how you have evolved to be able to pick the books you like and some tips in that direction? I don’t like books that easily (especially all the hyped ones) and it’s such a disappointment.

Naruto is good. I’m also happy you watched Fruits Basket ❤️. You and Clay should try One Piece also. The world building is the best I've seen in a story. It’s like you’re reading a high fantasy centered on pirates but in anime/manga format. You may read the manga since it's faster but I think it would be better to watch it together with Clay as bonding time

watching your naruto journey takes me back to my teenage years when i was obsessed with this show... i almost got emotional with you hahaha. it's huge thing that you guys stuck through and finished the whole series! super excited for your DBZ journey. i remember DBZ from my childhood but I didn't watch it as religiously as sailor moon/pokemon/digimon, but as an adult I really want to watch the whole dragon ball series :D i know this is a book channel, but I'm also excited to see which animes you guys watch and enjoy next! as always, thank you for these vlogs Regan!

The Farmer Trilogy is one of my all time favourite fantasy series and It has been amazing to watch you read it. The slower start to book one is really misleading to how much happens and how it develops further on. The characters are amazing and all the stuff that goes down! This rivals The Liveship Traders for me, so I’m looking forward to when you also experience trilogy two! I’m not commenting on Empire of Gold, saving it for next week... But I am so happy to hear that it is satisfying.

I didn't mean for this to be a nasty response, lol. It was just something I noticed (I was doing my skin care routine and my hands were wet so skipping the tons of adds was a challenge, lol). Hi Regan! Love your reading vlogs :) I'm a big fan of Dragon Ball Z, so I'm happy you're watching it! I recommend starting with the Dragon Ball episodes over "Z" first though for the character growths and beginning of Goku's story as a young boy to adulthood. You'll get to see how all the friendships started so once you reach the "Z" episodes, all the action and stakes actually mean something to you. It's an awesome ride. Have fun!

I came to watch this vlog cos I wanted to distract myself from buying manga... then you talk about Fruits Basket and I'm like DANG IT. I just finished volume 8 (the newer bind-ups) and I'm deep in my Kyo feels and need more but HAVE NONE. So... clearly this is a sign to order more. Hahaha! I'm so happy that you're becoming a Hobb fangirl, her characters are incredible. :') Nighteyes remains my favourite character of all time to this day.
