I came in expecting a bit of cringe, only to find my exact sense of humor. I’d honestly like to read more about the adventures of Lina and Shagwa, as narrated by Shagwa because her neurodivergent swagger is everything to me. There are “not like other girls”, and then there are “ACTUALLY not like other girls” (in an autistic way where you’re not even trying to be quirky, and you just end up seeming unhinged), and Shagwa is the latter. When I was 13, I wrote a story, a whole novel actually, about a crew of asteroid miners who end up getting getting mixed up in a conspiracy to because some of the crew were selling some of the materials they were mining to "Africa."
