I’m like 2/3 through KoA rn, I’m screaaaaming!!!! The tandem read gave me so much life I’m so happy to hear your recap of it. I actually love Lorcan and Elide so much. So many people introduced and brought back in these two books my head was spinning in the best way. Can’t wait for the next one. Hope you’re having the best day 😊😊😊

So grateful for all of your energy and effort making this series! I honestly couldn’t get into this book series at all, it felt too YA for me and I got a little bored and confused, but I loved ACOTAR felt like I should probably know a lot or about the TOG universe and these videos are PERFECT! Enough depth to know the story and the little character images have me howling - so good!!

aw thank you dude!! yes i hear you, especially the first 3 books feel very YA. But if you ever wanted to take a chance the tandem read/KOA feel similar to ACOTAR/CC as far as writing style :)

I’ve read all of ACOTAR and got till the first 10 chapters of EOS/TOD and my brain is so fried from reading 10 books in 2 months 😂 reading the tandem I had no clue what was going on cause my brain is so fried so thank you for these videos so I can still know what’s going on but take a break from reading 🙏

Thinking about doing the tandem is intimidating but actually doing it with the guide is actually very easy! And worth it! It works great if doing the audiobooks as well.

It’s just SOOO GOOD! I did the same tandem read - had no idea that was even a thing and I was TRULY mind blown! I am a Manon Blackbeak & The Thirteen STAN but Tower of Dawn was sooooooo good. And that’s sating a lot because I H A T E D Chaol. Yrene is everything to me! And Nesryn’s time out in the desert with the ruhks? It was sooooooo cool to learn and the southern continent and the way of life. Honestly Sarah Janet was in her BAG when she wrote these two books! Can’t wait for the next two videos!

I can't imagine having read EOS at time of publication, and then reading TOD at publication, separately. I actually hate Chaol a little less than most people I think, so I really enjoyed his story with Yrene. Where I was super bored in TOD was with the story arc of Nesryn and Sartaq, though as we see later, it's all important. EOS was a 5-star read for me though!

I also became ridiculously angry at the fact that Nesryn didn't even both to tell Chaol that she was going off with Sartaq for several weeks. A NOTE?! She left him a note?! So I was not a big fan of Nesryn.

you're not alone!! haha i see a lot of people say it's a book they enjoy even with it being slightly slower paced. there are chunks of it i really enjoy kale is just such a hard character for me to come back to lol i forgive him by the end but it takes me a little while 😂😂
