the love and thoughtfulness Nora Sakavic put into AftG is palpable - just continue on ☺ the build-up & pay-off in the end is everything. the Foxes reshaped my view of found families in other books (as well as the romantic relationship did) while every dialogue's unique and worth remembering because they refer and go back to past convos a lot. and it's got that early 2000s vibe which can easily feel like home, getting even stronger as the story goes on. i've just finished my nth reread of the series and still discovered new aspects and made new connections between acts, words and thoughts while having my heart broken and pieced together again. hope you'll read TRK and get attached too 🧡

In the all for the game there's found family in books 2 and 3! At first I was like uhm I don't like it that much but at one point I was literally screaming and crying and loving them😂😂. I'll read better than the movies!

The do over I think was just as good. It’s written by the same author Lynn painter and has the same banter. I read it in one sitting and it got me out of a reading slump.

All for the game is one of my favourite series even though they’re not perfect (and canonically white but ALL OF US ignore that lmao), also the found family is better shown in the next two books (wonderfully done too)! You HAVE to read them, I think you’ll really like them

8:24 the name you can’t pronounce is my name 😭 (aoi makes an eeee sound in irish so aoife is pronounced ee-fa) i could not get into that book because it was SO jarring reading about irish culture and slang! secondary school is so not like how it was depicted i was so baffled! i guess this is how americans feel 😮 the obsession with rugby + GAA was accurate tho so i’ll give her that

Babe noooo! You have to read Keeping 13!!!!You are totally right, not a lot of character development in Binding 13 but Keeping 13 is where it is at! I know its super intimidating and a lot to read but it is so worth it. Literally not a day goes by that i dont think about the characters in these books. PLease i am begging you just give keeping 13 a chance

which part did you get up to? i didn’t love binding 13 up to a certain point and the only thing keeping me going was what everyone else was saying. Looking back, after reading keeping 13 i did forget the things i didn’t love so much in binding 13 (because k13 is sooo good) which is why i hope you will finish it someday and read keeping 13!! i rate it all the stars in the universe✨

@@dianax5641 I don't really remember it but Shannon being small is a huge part of how broken she was, she had a small frame because she didn't have healthy habits because of the abuse and the bullying. She also mentioned at one point that they starved a lot cause their parents got caught up on their own problems ( addiction and depression). At one point Joey also compares her size to her mothers cause in both, it makes them seem fragile and broken ( which they both were thanks to her father)

i know everyone loves better than the movies and i just COUDN"T get with it. the main character was legit DELUSIONAL and it was throwing me off from getting into the actual story. wes was amazing and he literally deserved better. the story was okay but i could've did less with the all the obsessions and could've had more of wes's story and his pov
