I recommend Carissa Broadbent's books!! She has a lot on KU, but she has 2 series that are physically printed. The first is Daughter of No Worlds which is compared a lot to SJM, specifically TOG! and my personal favorite from her is a 6 book series (only the first is out right now though but its WORTH IT) that is compiled of 3 different duologies! Its vampire fantasy romance, a hunger games aspect, and SOOOO GOOD. Its called The Serpent and the Wings of Night!! I'm OBSESSED with it!!!

I'm loving a touch of darkness right now! & definitely going to continue on with the series.

The Blood mercy series by vela Roth is a 6 book vampire fantasy romance series that is really addicting and has the most beautiful covers🥹 I think Ashleigh from afrolicthroughfiction also read it earlier this year and gave it 5 stars edit: the worldbuilding in this series also reminds me of Brandon Sanderson's books

I feel the same about pictures in book! I love when they are sprinkled in. I'm glad I'm hearing your review so far of Just Like Magic because I also can't stand pop culture references in books, I read one earlier this year about a girl growing her youtube channel and it annoyed me the whole time. I'm currently reading the The Christmas Bookshop by Jenny Colgan (my fav author for hallmark type romance) and W&W book club book

Love the cozy vlog, I just put the series by Raven Kennedy on my Christmas list. Try reading the black brother dragger hood series by J.R. Ward that has 21 books in it. It is a vampire series. I've only read the 1st 2 books but want to get the other books in it to read

If you're looking for a new fantasy romance, the Poison Study series by Maria Snyder is amazing. The first book has some trigger warnings in it but the romance is the best I've ever read ❤️

A super long vampire series I love is by Laurell K Hamilton, Anita Blake series. Vamps, werewolves, solving crime, but magical. After 10 books or so, get very very sexually explicit. I skip that and enjoy the books.
