Just a tip on blade balancing, it's not total weight that matters it is mass moments. I would find the CG of each blade and then determine the sets with that data. Just an FYI from an old Army test pilot.

Wow! Reminds me of a friend of mine in the early '70's that flew his plane with a small dog inside the cockpit, and the dog seemed to enjoy it! You could never do that today with all the regulations regarding cruelty and safety etc. Freedom back then for sure!

Without being too critical....... nose cones are on jets. Spinners are on prop powered aircraft! Show how you spend most of your time. Beautiful plane - well done

Thanks! The aileron movement was from the gyro being turned on and the vibration.

I noticed the port aileron flutter slightly when you had the throttle up might be worth double checking the linkages just in case. Lovely build! All the best from the UK 🇬🇧 👍

Good eye Mick! Well done! that was the gyro compensating for the vibration. I left that out of the video but with gyro on and accelerating on the ground you could see the amperage from the surfaces climbing drastically! Normal stationary is 0.5 to 1.0 A. It climbed to 5.0A during that. Not entirely sure we will use the gyro. It will be one of those tested items in flight and left off for the beginning of the maiden.

I really enjoyed this build. I did a Phoenix model 30cc with a 35 DLE, all metal gear and nose cone, plus custom Callie graphics! I was too afraid to fly it! Lmao! I’m really curious abt the Demon cortex set up. I used one on mine and it worked well! I love this video series! Thanks!

When you did the C of G you retracts should have been up not down 0:38

For this one no. I think the only sollution would be to Clear Coat the entire aircraft again and not worth it in my opinion. Sticker kits are easy to get a hold of if they need replacement.

always balance in landing condition. In this case the tank is directly over the CG so it doesn't matter if its full or empty.

DONT paint the inside of the exhaust black. The real Strega would have been running High Octane fuel and the exhaust would be a light grey color.
