why I make such A statement? because skrillex has nothing to do dubstep, he created a bastard which influenced a bunch of other "artists" to create music labled as dubstep, when in reality it has nothing to do with the genre, i can't give you any other names of the top of my head because i don't listen to it, but i would assume a big boy like yourself could use google. Let me help you, just put in the word Brostep and you should be flooded with names.

Guys can we stop talking trash and comparing uk dubstep to brostep? I think at this point of time brostep has already become a totally different genre than uk dubstep. Don't get me wrong i like them both, but this isnt really meaningful if you are just here critizing another genre that you don't like. listen to king tubbys and you will hear where it all started in jamaica in the 70's london slow down jungle in keeping with the dubs that echoed arund the uk in the 70s on the sound systems .. US has lost the essence of the whole thing which is ugly sub bass...peace and love

Check labels like Artikal Music UK, DEEP MEDi or Sub Audio Records and artists like Kromestar, Distinct Motive or Fiend. Btw Loefah - Natural Charge / D1 - Crack Bong (Loefah Remix) will be released this 10th April.

Dude no need to justify why Rusko is on this List, hes a Legend in the scene just like Funtcase, Doctor P or Flux Pavillion or even alot of Skream Tracks back then it was called Filthy Dubstep and was very much part of the scene that changed when EDM pucked all over it.

Dude labels like Artikal Music UK, System Music or Navy Cut or even older labels like Deep Medi or Boka are banging right now. Also Brostep (mainstream "Dubstep") got out of the radars like 3-4 years ago (now there is Future Bass and Moombahton which idk what is worse but at least they're not stealing the genre's name) so you can be in peace ;)

Erd Ahmd i love a lot of his older songs. Many still claim that all his music is brostep which is wrong. He probably didn’t even know what he was making thinking it was dubstep. When a lot of his songs consist of electro house, glitch hop, complextro, drumstep, and brostep.

I prefer modern dubstep (melodic), but I can definitely understand the frustration of people who listened to and prefer UK dubstep. Modern dubstep isn't really comparable to UK dubstep, and as far as I'm aware, UK dubstep isn't even produced anymore.

Ever heard of these labels? 👇 - Deep, Dark & Dangerous - Artikal Music UK - Crucial Recordings - duploc.com - Encrypted Audio - Hatched - Gourmet Beats And of course, the ones that have been around for a very long time like Chestplate, DEEP MEDi Musik, and Tempa. The classic, true sound of dubstep never went away, and it's not going anywhere anytime soon, I guarantee you.

Glitch Hop is not always with basses. In early 2004-2005 it was like hip hop with jazzy glitchy samples and deep sub. And sometimes it was made with synths. But not serum & massive basses.
