How protective do we really need to be about children? And just how dependant are they on us? What would happen if children were actually left to live alone and together. Ten boys were chosen to live by themselves in a house for 5 days - none of them have met beforehand. A lord of the flies study where 10 boys who previously have not met are set to live together, without adult supervision for five days.

Unikern this is surprisingly controversial I personally think whatever mess you make is what you clean so if you make no mess you don’t have to clean ( except for dishes that I’d say two people clean the dishes for a day and then the next day different two people etc ) but that’s just my opinion some may say something like they all should do it equally which in a way I agree with but it kinda just comes down to opinions.

This one was before the girls one. In that one they don't give anybody cameras. I'm also surprised they let them trash the house so badly on the last day. It really had nothing to do with how they would get along living alone it was we don't have to be here anymore and they are letting us do whatever we want so lets go crazy and trash the place! If they had to stay there longer they wouldn't have done that. I wonder if they did stop them at some point? I'm sure Michael was trying to break windows and bust holes in the wall, maybe he did and they told him that is not allowed.

I don’t like to talk bad abt ppl I don’t know, but most of the boys in this house disgusted me. The way they treated sim was horrible, and I felt to bad for him. They always wanted him to clean THEIR mess when they couldn’t be bothered to clean it themselves. George was such a nice boy, and he was caring for sim which was really sweet. I DEFINETLY would have gone in the smaller room with the quieter boys.

Never saw this! George was such a good boy for helping Sim. I think he's going to do well in life. Natural leader but also has a good heart.. he had no qualms about going against the other boys even when it wasn't cool. His parents should be proud of the little man they've raised thus far.

This is grim. It is really bleak. I was so excited when I first clicked on this suggestion. I had so much expectation of seeing these young lads come out as leaders, responsible, reasoned and cheeky. A small few of whom were but wow.These lads had an opportunity to really demonstrate responsibility and gratitude for a nice experience, building friendships and having a memorable time of practicing responsibility, but wow, in the end quite a few of them had no appreciation or respect for property and others' feelings. Was this experience too overwhelming, and thrilling... unleashing rebellion in many of them...this really shed's some light on behaviour and influence and on myself and why I expected something else from the youth...
