Sick kids, late drop-offs, no time for grocery shopping ... Just one of THOSE weeks. Everybody has them from time to time. You really made the best lunches with what there was at hand. And that bread looked great!

I would have added the milk to the container of cereal just like Ben. And you are right-smarter to put into thermos-haha. Hope everyone is feeling better. That sourdough bread looked amazing-just beautiful. I love bread.

I think what you send is great! They eat it so they def like it...I was never crazy with my kiddos either.. Kraft dinner, chicken nuggets, leftovers or wraps....My kids are gluten and dairy free so they were not very adventurous....lol

Another good lunch video

Day 1 lunches with the pizza were a hit it appears, I think they all looked good and for the most part the kids did great with finishing up their lunches, though you had only a few to pack for most of the week, sad to hear that Jacob and Emily weren't feeling well, hopefully no one else ended up sick. I really enjoyed the outside shots of the yard with the good weather, our weather has been okay, a big gray and gloomy but typically making it in to the 70's most days. Here in California, we get May Gray and lots of June Gloom, but our weather warms up usually starting in July. We are planning a trip in July to drive to Arkansas which is in the South, about a 2-1/2 day trip each way. We are going to celebrate my mother in-laws 85th birthday, it should be a nice trip especially since I've never been to that area of the South. Good news, my husband and I became grandparents for the 3rd time this morning to a little boy, it's very exciting news and all is well with his daughter and the baby. Your bread looks amazing, I would never have guessed that was your first Sourdough bread, how awesome that someone was able to get you going with some starter. Will you be able to keep the sourdough starter going, I hope so. Well, that's it for now, I hope you have a wonderful week Lindsay.
