It seems that he allows her to do that and doesn't trust himself to responsibly manage his own money. I agree it's not the best idea but he does seem to prefer it being that way and there may be something more going on.

@@silence-is-bliss it’s been a while since I’ve seen the video, and I’ll definitely rewatch to make sure. From what I remember though, he went from his mom doing it to his fiancée. It honestly sounded to me like he was brought up in that cycle of abuse and it continued. Again, I’ll rewatch to make sure. I don’t totally remember since it says one month ago on my original comment 😂

Laser tag is a win. (I love bringing female friends who never have done it, because after like 10 minutes they are usually more into it than you would expect.) And a combined bachorlette/bachorler party is cool. And his mom is really good at making cakes.

A lot of comments about the complaining on her part and how she's controlling which I get, but there should be some acknowledgement that she quickly admitted when things surprised her and openly said she was proud of him and would trust him more.

I cannot imagine how shameless Sarah could be before the wedding dress consultant at the shop. She has body issues, and she's throwing her tantrums around the fitting room. She insists on her mistaken notion of class and elegance. She is evil, always trying to control things even when she is under contract, bereft of any decision-making powers in the process. She should learn to respect Ben and set a good example to their children or she will produce monsters with male image issues. She is very tacky, immature, and controlling.

Several girls wanted a church wedding and couldn't get it due to the shortness of time or the fact that the groom didn't want it. Several also wanted a castle, but the men preferred pubs or gambling joints.

I appreciate Ben wanting to marry at his church home, but the minister shouldn't have gone along with having the ceremony there with the bride not knowing. It's a sacred occasion and both people should be on board with the idea. Other than that, Ben planned a lovely day.

The bride is a control freak which is a huge flaw in her character. He should not have to ask for money!! She is totally out of line telling him what to do and how to do it. He should have NEVER , EVER spoke to his mother that way and certainly NOT in front of other people in a store! Shame on both of them! They both have a lot to learn. I would not be surprised to find out that by year 5 they are no longer married !
