We welcome back Geoff Reeves, a former Navy Seal who will be reacting to Six Days in Fallujah.
His experience as a Navy Seal will give us insights into how realistic the game is and how would a real team operate during those missions.
Geoff will show us what happens during those missions, how the team should communicate, and how intense the real battles are.

Six Days in Fallujah is a tactical first-person shooter video game developed by Highwire Games and published by Victura. Set in the Second Battle of Fallujah of the Iraq War over the span of six days in November 2004, the game follows the United States Marine Corps' 3rd Battalion, 1st Marines (3/1) as they fight the Iraqi insurgency in the city of Fallujah, Iraq. Its campaign follows two perspectives: a squad of Marines from 3/1 deployed to battle the insurgents, and an Iraqi family attempting to escape the city in the midst of the battle.

I'm pretty sure that the guy, Karmakut, has not been in the military but he has played a bunch of MilSim with guys that did have actual combat experience. Including SOF. Great vid brother.

Yeah, Karmakut is just really into guns and military culture and plays with veterans and probably has picked up a lot of the military language with that. But I think Karmakut does actually take part in Airsoft MilSim, even with NVGs and all... or was that Drewski?

It's amazing how many non military people are learning the verbage. There's alot of military guys that play and as people play with them they pick it up. Would love to see you give it a go yourself.....it's alot of fun, but still has some bugs.

@@zgSH4DOW Correct, one thing that is missing/added is there's no shoulder tapping etc, so often people have to be more verbal then they would otherwise.

To answer your question about the guy running a handgun, he is most likely the saw gunner and doesnt have a flashlight on his weapon and has to use his m9, which does have a flashlight.

Thats what i do, the pistol also really packs a punch vs the rifles for some reason.

Smaller barrels are always favorable inside. This is a game but in real life having a long gun means you let the guy with the pistol go in front first, someone could easily hold your barrel and stab you when entering a room. Plus high velocity small caliber bullets are pathetic at close ranges, it just goes through the target. You can take 7 hits from a 5.56mm and still be able to finish the guy that shot you. But a single 9mm can take you out, specially if it's hollow point.

@@NecramoniumVideopistols use bigger calibers. A .45 is about 11mm, this is twice the size of a 5.56mm so at close ranges the pistol obviously hits way harder.

@antoniohagopian213 have you seen the new xm7 rifled in 6.8? That's a game changer in cqb as the army is replacing the m4 with it. Sig is producting the gun, and it's mostly the same platform, just slightly different.

@antoniohagopian213 there is so much more that goes into how much energy a round has than just bullet diameter. Yes a 9x19mm has a bigger diameter than a 5.56x45, but the 5.56 is more than twice as long. The desert eagle is the worst offender of this .50ae (12.7x33mm) is a 50 calibre round yes, but it doesn't even begin to compare to a .50BMG (12.7x99mm) or even the Russian 12.7x108mm. There is no comparison there

Man, it’s crazy how dudes at computer desks who probably have no combat experience manage to impress a actual Navy seal. Makes me wonder how much of a difference this gaming experience can actually make if applied to something real world if it came down to it. Obviously it’s different I know but still, gaming has come a very long way

@@kyleparker2701 ive always been fascinated with the military and my play style has always been around this type. I jumped in a game with some guys that happen to be vets and when we were in game and making callouts and communicating, one of the guys asked if I was a vet and I said no and that I wasn’t built for it and he was surprised and said he was convinced I had some solid military experience at least based off my terminology alone. Sorry I went on a tangent but I thought it was pretty cool lol

Game clips used: Karmakut GLID Gaming Controlled Pairs Gaming Operator Drewski All have many videos of this game and other tactical games. Most former military. Really only watched GLID before. He is former Royal Marines and plays with Marines, Army, Swat, and more. Tactics and comms are always on point. EDIT: links are in video description.

A Dual Sense Feature they could add would be having the trigger really hard to push when the gun is fully loaded and as the bullet count drops in mag there's less resistance to trying to push the trigger.

1:50. I'm ex royal marine and i ALWAYS hold up the six and it has often proved successful and saved us in this game and often thanked because of it, always check your rear on approach. People don't think about that but the choggies really do tend to sneak up on your rear in this game once a building has been breached.

I love playing this game but at the same time you remember people did this for real, its when you clear a house with no one in it then when you're on the 2nd floor you see a hole in the ceiling covering the door that you just walked in totally oblivious then you realise had someone been there it was lights out, not a comforting thought for those that were there

This is why you need players as the enemy, the enemy should have specific goals so it's not like a deathmatch. But the lights for example , yeah would give away so easily, and the guy not checking his six, there should be A.I that learns your bad habits and punish you on them.

To answer 2 questions: The lighting in this game is so dark you have to use flashlights in about half of the buildings. Of the four players, each must be 1 of 4 separate classes Two of those classes use a The Saw and shotty, neither of which have a flashlight.

The last group of 4 guys are military. The one guy is Grunt comm. He's a US Marine. He runs a lot with GLID GAMING. Check them out. I base all my game play off of what I've learned from watching them run. Listen to comms and move as a team. Check them out. GLID, GRUNT COMM, LUDI, FORD, VENOM. These guys are the real deal 👍👍👍

So do you give any background on the video they are reacting to? Pairs and GLID I think both have military experience. Maybe let the guy reacting know a little about the players they are watching. That way they aren't just guessing if they might have military experience or not.

This game looks insanely good! I don’t like the sight pictures in the gameplay I’ve seen, though. Maybe there some kind of training to compensate for CQB on a 100m zero with an FSB, I know the ACOG has a method, but it shouldn’t work at the ranges I see it working here. Outside of a building you’d be shooting above enemies’ heads. Apart from that, I’m excited to try it out.

I don't think this "real navy seal" realizes most of these things like "Check your corners" and "Contact!" have been present in Hollywood for over a decade. We know what a SAW is, and it's Call of Duty experience not real military experience. lol
