I've been to this place. You can take stairs or an elevator to the basement. When you get down there it's all concrete. Very cold and dark down there. The tunnels extend out nearly a mile. I'm no paranormal expert, but there is definitely something down there that is very spooky and evil. Like a poltergeist.

I learned about the billiwack monster in the book called wierd California which shows all the wierd stuff of the state of California. In this book it was painted as a baby with a goat head

I'm one of those kids that have explored around there, who "may or may not have been drinking". And FYI..... We were. 😆

My Dad took us (brothers and friends) out to the "Haunted Dairy" around 1965. Very scary to 9, 10 yr. olds. I recall a "banquet room" with a Star of David stained glass window up on the wall. I walked up to an elevator shaft to look down from the 2nd floor and about the time I noticed all the bird poop...an owl took flight and brushed my head with a wing. Yes, it scared all of us! The owl was panicked and was flying into the panes of glass , breaking some of them trying to escape. We were ready to leave! Good memories...

The story was most likely created so people wouldn’t go find out what they were doing in the valley. But I’m going to go check it out this weekend

Was born in Santa Paula CA there is alot of paranormal stuff in Santa Paula and Ventura county.

That place is very spooky. My Dad is friends with one of the brothers and they allowed my cousins and I to go on a tour of the ranch. That basement is so freaky and this was during the day. I remember going to down the elevator shaft and those big hallways were just pitch black, and I think even the dogs were scared to go all the way into those hallways!

Paranormal EXP I learned of the Billiwhack Monster when I purchased 2 motorcycles that were stored in the second to last barn back in November of 2012. My friend of 47 years has a storage inside. We're from Thousand Oaks and drove over there to get them. My friends wife told the story to my wife while friend & I were pulling the bikes out of a 25+ year storage. She told us that the Mexican farm laborers refuse to stay there after dark due to the legend. I never saw, heard or felt anything weird. Anyway, since 1 of the motorcycles has a very rare, highly built and very powerful engine, I had a personalized license plate holder made that reads: "BILLIWHACK MONSTER!!! in honor of The Legend. You mentioned that the sightings and/or legend goes back to the 1920's which is impossible since the "monsters" were developed in case the Allies invaded the Japanese mainland. Since we dropped the 2 big bombs and the Japanese surrendered, that's why the "monsters" were destroyed except the "legend" who escaped when he learned of or saw the others being destroyed. Lol what a pile of bullshit! First the U-2 spy plane did not fly during World War II. Secondly, if you saw anybody walking through that basement as an apparition it was probably due to something you were drinking or smoking. How would I know this, I have spent countless hours in that basement and never saw one single apparition. However, I can tell you if you shut the lights off in the basement and you stand still long enough the owls will fly past your head and make you feel like there's a ghost in the basement.
