Thanks for posting! My dad was born in Riverside county, but moved us to Ventura County in the early 60's. (THANKS DAD) I love seeing what CA looked like when he was 13. I had so much fun camping near Santa Paula as a kid.

I lived in Santa Paula or rather upper Ojai off Highway 150 from 1977 to 1983. I lived with my father on Topa lane. how I long to move back there!

I lived in Santa Paula/Upper Ojai from the late 80's till the early 2000's. I miss it. I still have friends that live there. I think about moving back sometimes.

Very interesting. I'm wondering if the original film was cropped like this video. Is the video transfer cropped or was it cropped when uploaded to You Tube? I need to go back and look in the old 1929 Chronicles to see if there was an article about it. There must be. Thanks AV Geeks.

Ironically. Way more people live in there in 2023. But the main street is way more quiter and less busy!!!!
