"the various known methods that a burglar might use to gain entry" ... the test did not appear to include lock picking and I understand these locks are very susceptible to picking. LPL picked such a lock very quickly.

Also expert level lock picking isn’t really a ‘known method that a burglar might use’. Let’s face it most of them don’t have the time or skill to pick a lock.

Burglaries never involve lock picking ,smashed glass is most common.

No, most glass is toughened. That means if you try to break it or cut it, it will shatter. This risks making noise and also to say the burglars also may hurt themselves, so they don't bother.
